TDM and S&D
FrostFire is a fast-paced nighttime level set on an oil rig. It's a small map with tons of angles that I think make for a great competitive experience.

Update #5 - UE 4.21 Upgrade and other fixes
  • Upgraded to Unreal Engine 4.21.x
  • Fixed the torch fire
  • Added an Ocean around the map
  • Added more light fixtures and improved lighting overall
  • Quality of life changes
  • Changed some materials

FrostfireVR is an homage to my favorite multiplayer map of all time, from the 2002 PS2 classic, SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs.

Ok, I just tested it for the HIDDEN mode, and it's not good because the hidden can fall into the water off the map, and then he cannot go back. If you could add some block areas, so this doesn't happen, I think it would be good.

I think this would make an awesome map for the new HIDDEN mode. Do you think it would support it? I'm also planning in adding it on rotation in our TDM server.

@Sparta i can't remember the maps tho it's been 4 years. But i do a name called Urban wasteland or something

@faaskee Glad you like it! I do plan on recreating other SOCOM maps in the near future so definitely be on the lookout for those. Haven't yet decided which one to do next so feel free to drop suggestions!

@sparta Will there be more Socom confrontation maps? I would love to play the hell out of it :D
