or just do a friends only session, or just do a invite only session *magic*

@Zuhan Yup, still working! Just tested it. If it's giving issues, try waiting around 15 seconds before resuming the GTA process. The "Pause Game On Focus Loss" setting under Graphics may also cause it not to work.

Does this still work? I'm having problems getting it to work again.

Still works like a charm.

To those still trying this old school trick, they have patched it. You will end up kicked from the game more often than clearing the lobby.

Gotta love how the cowards over at r* would rather fix this than make their game use server validation to stop modders.

To be clear, this does still work rarely. I used to use this all the time, now anything over 8 seconds exits your game to SP, anything less just doesn't do anything. Very rarely will it still work and kick everyone out by placing you in your own session.

Also there is no way to stop others from joining. Not inviting friends will give you a better chance at staying solo, but it does not guarantee so.

Hope I was able to clear some points up for everyone. Enjoy :)

yes don't invite friends, if you don't want anyone to join

Ol' reliable. The only reason I haven't refunded this game on purchase day. Just make sure you're not currently in any sort of mission while doing it (which, admittedly, you might need it the most at those times).
