RED_BLANK_NPCs

Description
Adds a scene with blank level 1 NPCs of all races to GM Mode. The NPCs should be "saved" for use in other scenes. The apearance of the NPCs can be edited as per character creation and equipment and weapons will show and give the correct armor values, except for helmets. They do give the correct armor values, but won't show for some reason.

Once you have saved/exported the NPCs you can delete the original scene and even remove the mod from your save or campaign as you won't be needing it anymore because the NPCs are now part of your exported creatures palette.

Wanted to ask if these would be the templates that I had to use to do the changes on custom characters on the divinity engine as I had to no luck at all.

I totally agree that it is sad, and no there is no way to have NPCs to adjust their portrait in GM Mode at all. The only way to generate portraits is in the engine itself.

As it is totally easy to create NPCs in the engine I strongly reccomend any GM to use the engine to create their NPCs (with correct portraits) there and simply upload a mod with them to use in their campaigns.
Feel free to contact me at "the modders discord" here https://discord.gg/PZh8Ams if you need help doing so.

Ah that's sad. It's not a big deal but I breaks the immersion a little bit. Maybe there is a simple way with divinity engine? I managed to load the mod into it and changed the appearance there but even then the portrait doesn't change. Seems to be complicated.

Unfortunately that is not possible Luvain

I love this mod.
Is it possible to change the character portrait? They always have the same face even I change it on the actual character.

No problem @Richard. I am glad you fixed your problem.

I think I found out whats the issue. If you equip clothes in gm and dont have stats needed to use them then posses npc it bugs out your appearance changing tab. I will be careful about this from now on. But I think this bug is more likely related to the game itself then your mod. Anyway thx for a great mod. And about those armors bugging, some bug, like steel armor on human male. His hands blink true it. But again Im not sure if this bug is caused by your mod or by the game. Mod itself seems legit now when I figured this out. Sorry for any possible inconvinience my post may have caused among people who wanted to use the mod.

iI have no problems with this mod whatsoever. No glitches, ,no underwear showing through armor and can color the armour just fine. Also there are no problems when possessing the NPCs.
NPCs not changing the portrait is an unfortunate GM Mode "feature" that applies to all face changes, even with the "standard" NPCs that came with the game.

I suspect you have a modconflict @Richard.

I like the idea but this mod is so glitchy man. :/ NPC underwear bugs true armor. Armor cant be colored. Avatars doesnt respond on facechange and when I posses npc strange things happen sometimes. XD But idea is good keep up your work.

There is. It's called "The Divinity Engine 2" and you can find and download it from "Tools" on steam. If you do download it, make sure you also get the required FREE DLC for the base game.
