Eco production layouts
By Glyphis
This guide contains a collection of building layouts which I've been using for while now; partially self-made, partially from contributors on the official Anno 2070 Wiki website. These layouts are focussed on productivity and efficiency and should therefore be used in the more high-end games with large cities and high numbers of inhabitants. This guide will scope on the Eco buildings. Be sure to check my other guides for the Tycoon and Tech layouts.
All the layouts include: a list of required goods needed to build the layout, an in-game screenshot of the layout and a schematical layout.

The following production layouts will be discussed:
- Building modules
- Tea
- Wood
- Health food
- Pasta dishes
- Bio drinks
- 3D projectors
- Service bots
- Solar panels

Production lines like tools, communicators, weapons, etc. are bound by resources, therefore I can't make any layouts for them.

Note: don't forget to build some pasta dishes factories.
Bio drinks
This health food production layout requires two production fields:
- a 30x15 box for the production of milk
- a 24x16 box for the production of fruit

Milk

Requirements (milk + bio drinks factory):
- 15 ton tools
- 13 ton building modules
- 24 ton wood
- 24 ton glass

3D projectors
This 3D projectors production layout requires two production fields:
- a 24x20 box for the production of diamonds.
- some free space for the production of manganese nodules and rare-earth elements.

Diamonds

Requirements (diamonds inc. power plants and depot):
- 72 ton tools
- 136 ton building modules
- 19140 credits (inc. underwater transport road and fields)
- Available resources: diamonds
- must be build underwater!

Layouts for the diamonds includes:
- 4x Diamond harvesting station
- 4x Marine current power plant
- 1x Underwater depot

`
note: since underwater plateaus are often small and very irregular, changes are that the underwater layouts might be too large. In that case, try to fit the production plants as efficient as possible.
`
Manganese modules

Requirements (manganese modules/rare-earth elements):
- Available resources: manganese modules
- must be build underwater!

Both the Manganese excavation robots and the Rare-earth borers can be build in a simple line.

note: don't forget to transport the diamond and rare-earth elements to your mainland, where projector plants can make 3D projectors.

hint: try to find an underwater plateau with both the diamonds and manganese nodules fertility, to make the transportation of both the goods more simple and faster.
Service bots
This service bots production layout requires two production fields:
- a 18x18 box for the production of algaes
- a 24x30 box for the production of corn
Besides these production fields, you also need microchips in order to make service bots.

Algaes

- 8460 credits (inc. underwater transport road and fields)
- Fertility: algaes
- Must be build underwater!

Solar panels
The solar panels layout needs a minimum box of 13x21.

Requirements (per solar tower):
- 20 ton tools
- 15 ton building modules
- 30 ton wood
- 30 ton glass
- 4000 credits (inc. fields)

Building a fitting solar panels layout can be divided into three fases.

Fase 1: building the first tower and fields

`
`
`
Fase 2: extent the layout to create a line

`
Fase 3: create a second row of panels

`
Hint: build a depot in the free square between the two rows to create the required building area.

Layouts used in this guide are partly developed by myself, partly developed by others. Some layouts have been published by other contributers on the official wiki-page of Anno 2070 before I made this guide. Please thank the original contributor/creator of each layout.

Nice layouts, but will the Basalt Extraction delivery first to the Smelter? Maybe the depot will arrive first with this layout. I never connect my Extractors to the depot.

@Glyphis: Ecobalance I accelerated my farms to 130%, but again, I repeat, it did not help, although I did not think about ships with a large tonnage. We'll have to try. Tell me, is it necessary to settle all 3 factions on the same island, or can I try on different ones? Although, of course, it will be a real horror with logistics... In any case, I use all your manuals. I put it in my favorites, because everything is laid out on the shelves. Great gratitude.

@CraZy DoC:

To gets loads of products transported, my personal favorite: use Tycoon's Container ships in combination with the 'Container ship haulage diversification'-upgrade: 6 slots, 90 tons each and will go almost as fast as the Viper warship when fully loaded.

If you want to boost your ecobalance or your energy output as efficient as possible, you might to check the other guides I wrote.

Last tip: a faction can benefit from another faction's tech, or in other words: they can help each other out. I personally find it harder to build all three factions at a time in one sector, building them up parallel to each other could help you out as well (as mentioned above: while focusing on growing you Eco faction, use the Container ship from your Tycoon faction to haul large amount of goods across your sector).

I hope you'll find my tips useful. :)

@CraZy DoC: there are a number of useful tips when it comes building and maintaining large/multiple factions in a single game. Probably the most important tip: planning is everything. There are calculators online that can help you plan how much factories/farms/mines/etc you will need for each production line in order to 'feed' a certain amount of inhabitants. I use those calculators all the time, really handy. Also try the Wiki-page for Anno 2070 and the guides available through Steam for more tips and tricks.

To enhace production lines, try using island or section wide upgrades and make 'dedicated' islands. For instance try to create an island specifically for the production of a few products (rice, tea, veggies, etc), boost the ecobalance with ecobalance enhancers to overclock the producers to the absolute max (150+% production rates for farms can easily be achieved) and then export the products to the needed islands with your inhabitants.

Author, I understand that you passed the task with the construction of 3 monuments and an absolutely incredible amount of maximum quality of the population of all three factions?! To achieve this for a separate faction is still imaginable in my understanding (although even with your leadership, this has never happened yet. By the way, many thanks for it), but how to achieve this for all 3 factions? Even in one faction of ecologists (as the easiest in the game for me personally) , after reaching a certain number of the highest level of the population, they begin to consume resources at such a speed that no transport and an increase in the amount of production do not save from this. Not save and outrageously enhanced ecology on the Islands farms, not to mention the environment in a populated island to reduce the pleasure. And this is only one faction! How do people achieve such results that they build all 3 factions and also compete for the number of people?!

No worries, could happen to anyone. :demoticon:

Well, you*re right - obviously. Seems like I wasn't on top of my mind after playing the game for almost 6 hours straight. I must have mistaken the vegetable and grain layout or something.
I'm very sorry for the false accusation! Have a nice day!
Glyphis  [author] Sep 24, 2018 @ 12:37am
Can't really see the issue you're implying @Apollo25, could you specify? The three fields used in the layouts for the production of Health Food and Pasta Dishes are Rice fields (4x4), Vegetable fields (3x4) and Grain fields (4x5). Maybe you're mixing up the last two mentioned?
Apollo25[11GD] Sep 22, 2018 @ 6:20pm
I know I'm a bit late, but for me it seems the Vegetable layout is incorrect! The field size you show is 3x4, not 4x5 which it actually is. If you look closely, you'll actually see, that you probably pasted the wrong screenshot (the one from the vegetables) under the "pasta dishes" topic...
