Description
Following on from my other class mods, a few people were asking if I could make a Dragon Knight. I had been wondering this myself ever since encountering Slane, so I thought I'd give it a go. I've gone for a Fire based dragon for now, with other elemental options possibly being added later. Custom icons and modified effects for everything.

My problem came with the realisation that, once the big (and obvious) Dragon Form ability was taken care of, I didn't know what a "base form" Dragon Knight should really be able to do... I settled for fairly balanced melee abilities in base form, focused on speed and mobility (with some added burning) and then magic projectiles etc once transformed.

I created a vendor, who you'll find just by the starting waypoint on Fort Joy. He seems a little temperamental, so in the short term there's also a chest with the abilities in nearby, and also where you wake up in The Hold. Of course if you choose the class at the creation stage you'll get some right off the bat.

"Base" abilities are:
Dragon Form (self explanatory)
Dragon Rush: Charge forwards, damaging all enemies in front of you and igniting those without magic armor. Knock down with no Physical armor. Leave a smoke cloud behind.
Dragon Strike: Jump between up to 10 enemies within the target area, dealing physical damage and igniting those without magic armor.
Devastating Strike: High cooldown, high impact. Deal a massive blow to a single target, leaving them briefly unconscious from the strike, regardless of armor.
Knight's Breath: A variation on the stock Dragon's Blaze, but now not just a Lizard ability.
Power Jump: Using the strength of your inner dragon, propel yourself in a huge leap to your target destination.
Dragon's Presence: Briefly reveal the power of your inner dragon, terrifying enemies nearby.

In Dragon Form you'll have the ability to fly, stomp, spin, launch fireballs, blow fire streams and terrify enemies.

Any suggestions for base form abilities are welcome, and I'll implement what I can. I'll add later vendors once I iron out the kinks with him.

*NOTE* I can't seem to make all of the dragon animations work correctly when you have a weapon equipped. Make sure your hands are empty in Dragon Form for everything to work as intended, although most skills won't have any major issues (the exception being WhirlWing)*

CONFLICTS!
Likely this will conflict with any other mods which allow you to transform into a dragon. I know specifically the Druid mod by Switch is an issue - I'm not 100% why, as all skills are made from scratch- and it doesn't appear to be an easy fix. For best performance, don't use these mods together at the same time, or some requirements and stats of skills and abilities seem to cross over.

************Hi guys. To all who are commenting asking for a DE version, I did address this further down in the comments. Unfortunately, this does not appear to be an issue of simply importing the mod into the new editor. The map changes effectively delete all custom skill books and vendors, and mean I'd be pretty much starting from scratch. I'm working a great deal of hours these days, and I don't have time for such an in depth project.

Someone initially was going to take over the running of the mod and handle the import, however they came across the same problems I did attempting to import and they appear to have given up.

Once again: I am happy for anyone (willing to put in the effort ) to take over the mod and publish an updated version, as long as I am credited for my original work.

Thanks!*****************

If anyone is wondering why This is incompatible with Druid mod by Switch. It may have something to do with Druids mod allowing you to transform into a dragon.

Hey is this by design, I've tried transforming into a dragon before entering combat, and as soon as the fight starts I go back to normal :/

u said suggestions welcome, from what I read I did not see this on the list of base abilities. I suggest some kind of magic/physical/both? armor buff called dragon scale or scale armor or something. Thank you!

That's a shame, this mod was one of the cooler class mods out there, well I hope we get something similar eventually, thank you for all the fun you provided us till this point Claivain.
