@Grimes Thanks for your work and for providing further information. I regularly see the links to this Cargo calculated weight mod, but I can't find any description in English. Can someone please post a link to the english version instead, or write an english description?

I know, it's just unfavorable. That's why the other versions will follow.
You can get them here as an update.
In my opinion, the regulation of dividing capacities by four in Transport Fever is no longer appropriate.
That's why I've been using this mod for some time now for real capacity:

And this one for real weights and capacities for freight cars (doesn't exist on Steam):

I can recommend both.

I know you went for realism, but TF is a game that doesn't differenciate between 1st and 3rd class.
With their current stats Hechtwagen are worse in every aspect except top speed than Donnerbüchsen. They cost more, are longer, have less seats and weigh much more.

Weight and capacity hurts most.
The 05 from another mod for example struggles with only 6 Hechtwagen.

Hi, Optera,
Justifiable question, the "Donnerbüchse" has 66 seats in real life. Since the game calculates these by four, the 16.5 is rounded up to 17.
The version of "Donnerbüchse" in the game, is a 3rd class wagon.

The "Hechtwagen" from me is a splitted 1st / 2nd class wagon and has for this reason really only 45 seats. Divided again by four...

Further versions of this car are planned, like 2nd and possibly 3rd class, with more seats.

It's not yet clear when I'm going to start. I am currently working on this project.

Really nice looking wagons, sadly their capacity seems off. Why would a 20m wagon only have 11 capacity when 13m Donnerbüchsen have 17?
Hechtwagen should have ~20.

Fantastic! I've been waiting for these for a long time. Thank you :)
