Team Fortress 2 War Paint Ideas
By Okami Tomato
Since the Pyro update added in these new "war paint" things to almost entirely replace the old weapon skins I have thought of a few of my own... However my crippling lack of proper artistic talent (or money to buy decent programs) has lead me to only be able to put it into a guide and not yet make actual pictures for them.

If I do (big "if" there) then I'll put the texture under the heading alongside pictures of the skins on existing weapons and (hopefully) links to them on the workshop

Also the usual disclaimer applies: "This isn't a guide, just a collection of my ideas that I wanted to put into this type of format"

Anyways... lets get started!

High-Danger
Appearence:
A dark grey/black version of the original weapon covered in yellow and black tape that has been hap-hazardly applied to the weapon.

Primary Colour: Dark grey with large pieces of warning tape stuck to it.
Secondary Colour: Slightly lighter grey version of the primary colour. Less tape is placed on these areas overall as well.
Tertiary Colours: Yellow and black diagonal stripes (like the tape has)
Uranium-Powered
Appearence:
Mostly grey and black weapons with glowing lime-coloured cracks in. Could be compared to the powerhouse skins that look somewhat similar.

Primary Colour: Black with the aforementioned 'lime-coloured glowing cracks'.
Secondary Colour: Same as the primary colour except that it is a darkish grey instead of black
Tertiary Colours: Dark greyish brown. Does not have the "cracks" like the rest of the weapon does.
Lemon Aid
Appearence:
Team-coloured weapons covered in lemons. Could be compared to the red variant of the "citizen pain minigun" for the heavy.

Primary Colour: Team-coloured with pictures of smiling lemons on
Secondary Colour: Grey, sometimes has a small sticker on that seems to be mentioning lemons.
Tertiary Colours: Black, has no real decoration
Overgrown Offensive
Appearence:
Weapons that are designed to look like plants, featuring heavy use of green and textures that look like vines, grass and thorns.

Primary Colour: Green, grassy texture. Sometimes has patches of small, white flowers in places.
Secondary Colour: Darker green, made to look like thorny vines. Rarely has large, team-coloured flowers on.
Tertiary Colours: Even darker green. Has no real decoration
Aspiring Artist
Appearence:
Weapons that are painted with streaks and lines of various bright colours. Could be compared to the "psychadelic slugger revolver" but it features more colours, less accurate lines and strokes and no white lines inbetween the colours.

Primary Colour: Splashes and paintbrush strokes of various bright colours. Violet, Pink, Red, Orange and Yellows on red and Indigo, blue, turquoise, green and lime on blu.
Secondary Colour: Grey camoflage patterns mainly. Small, occasional splashes of paint.
Tertiary Colours: Light grey, occasionally has small splashes of red or blue paint in certain places.
Strong Language
Appearence:
Appears to be newspaper pages stuck on the weapons. The text cannot be read since it has all blurred badly. It has a few pictures here-and-there.

Primary Colour: Light creamy colour with black smudged words. Uncommonly features a black-and-white picture and even rarer is a chance to have a picture that is actually in colour.
Secondary Colour: Shiny, gold-like surfaces.
Tertiary Colours: Black, no decorations
Wierd Webbing
Appearence:
Another spider-themed paint. However, this time the webs will actually be more noticable since purple+black usually makes them harder to spot from longer distances. (And plus Mk. II things exist so I can't just go and make this a mildly altered Macabre web)

Primary Colour: Very dark grey background with several light grey/white webs that coat it. The web is also covered in spiders, most of which look different from one another (and occasionally small jokes or references will be added to spiders if any appropriate ones can be made).
Secondary Colour: A very dark and unsaturated team colour. Rarely spiders will also be seen on this part (though with smaller weapons this isn't guarenteed).
Tertiary Colours: Black handles that may occasionally have small, symmetrical clusters of team-coloured circles.

Spiders: (As mentioned in both primary and secondary colours):
-A normal black spider with team-coloured eyes
--A 2nd variant with a top hat
-A large, brown spider
-A black widow
-A small version of the spider nicknamed "charlotte" from the halloween event on one of the other guides (Rare)
-A small version of the spider monster from the halloween event on one of the other guides (Rare)
-Gold spider (Rare)
-A spy-der (Rare)
Seaside Surprise
Appearence:
Weapons designed to look like beaches and oceans. A few small pictures may also be visible of various random creatures on the skins.

Primary Colour: A yellowy sand texture. Crabs, sandcastles, small palm trees and rarely spycrabs may be seen
Secondary Colour: Mostly blue with wave-like patterns along it. You may see fish or rarely sharks
Tertiary Colours: Palm-tree brown with darker-brown stripes down it
Frostbite
Appearence:
Patterned to look like snow and ice. Occasionally has a few small things scattered around on certain parts.

Primary Colours: Mostly white. Occasionally has footprints in from bears, people, yetis and mammoths.
Secondary Colours: Light blue ice crystals. Rarely has a darker blue shark-shaped shadow (frost-bite joke)
Tertiary Colours: Darker blue, sometimes has claw marks.
Sweet Tooth
Appearence:
Mostly light team-coloured weapon with several different foods across it.

Primary Colour: Baby pink/baby blue with various different foods all over it. The different types will be put below.
Secondary Colour: Team-coloured with occasional pink/light blue swirls.
Tertiary Colours: Light brown squares made to look like chocolate.

Different Desserts:
-Dalokohs Bar
-Lollichop
-Bonk!
-Banana
-Sandvich
-Mad Milk
-Crit-o-Cola
-Jelly beans
-Jelly babies
-Gummy bears
-Spycrab wearing a sandvich mask (Rare)
Union of Serpents
Appearence:
A weapon with several snake-like designs and patterns on it. It is another rare skin (though this time you can hopefully get a strange (valve plz))

Primary Colours: Golden with several different snakes along it including a red one with orange diamongs with yellow outlines. A black snake with three yellow diamond stripes down it's back. Green with blue spots, etc.
Secondary Colours: Team-coloured, some parts have small bite marks in.
Tertiary Colours: Dark, unsaturated team-coloured handle(s).

Extra Info:
-Reference to the once-popular Duran Duran song "Union of the snake"
Tropical Trouble
Appearence:
A light orange/blue skin featuring a tree-like design with birds sitting on the branches.

Primary Colour: Either light orange or light blue. It has branches with leaves over most of the design with brightly-coloured birds on the branches
Secondary Colour: Leaves, possibly with more birds peeking out amongst them
Tertiary Colours: Wooden texture
Overclocked
Appearence:
Various-coloured squares on a team-coloured base.

Primary Colour: Grouped squares on a base. The base can be from red to orange on red or yellow to blue on blu (Not guarenteed to be all the colours). The squares can be team colours, brown, black, white, or cream spirit colours.
Secondary Colours: Brown, does not have the spectrum like the primary colour
Tertiary Colours: Dark grey/black
Hard-Wired
Appearence:
An exposed motherboard

Primary Colour: A green background with gold wires going horizontally across. It also has a few silver squares and a few other things to give it the 'computer chip' look it's going for
Secondary Colours: Either grey or black, drawing attention to the main design but also making it look like the chip is 'inside' the weapon on most weapons
Tertiary Colours: Dark grey/black

Don't you love it when you make up ideas and then, days later, someone has come up with a similar idea... but they have this thing called 'skill' and so they have it on the workshop and you don't, making you look like you copied them yet both ideas were actually completely seperate from eachother?

Yeah it's happened again.

It's been about an hour and I have now come up with enough war paints to fill a case...

...Wish I had the skills to backup the imagination
