Marriage Mod - To Have & To Hold

Descrizione
This mod is designed to enhance the current marriage system in Skyrim; specifically the Wedding Scene at the Temple of Mara, fix various marriage related bugs (potentially an ongoing effort), and add mechanics to remarry. Ultimately, the goal of this mod, and others planned for the Marriage Mod series, is to bring the Dragonborn and their Spouse more close together and have a much more robust and interactive experience within the marriage system. Considered an overhaul of the marriage system in Skyrim; this mod will likely conflict with any other Mods that make changes to the Temple of Mara within Riften or “The Bonds of Matrimony” Quest as well, but should be Follower Mod friendly.

--Feature Summary—
1.) Marriage to a new spouse via death or Intentional divorce of old spouse.
2.) Fixes to the wedding ceremony and a reception afterwards with dynamic events depending on the Dragonborn’s completion of specific quests; Tending the Flames, Blindsighted, The Eye of Magnus, and Glory of the Dead.
3.) Three sub quests, which help aid the Dragonborn during the marriage events.
4.) A basic version of the “Dress Up” feature ( which will be part of a future marriage mod sub-titled “To Love and Cherish”) allows the Dragonborn to ask their spouse to change the default outfit they have on (the one under the equipped armor) to one of a hand-full of predetermined outfits.
5.) Fixes to various NPCs related in part to Marriage.
6.) The Dragonborn may now marry multiple spouses (to a Maximum of 11) with the help of the Aspect of Love. One can also easily locate each of their spouses with the aid of a new book, titled “Mara’s Tear”, which details each spouse’s location.
7.) The Dragonborn’s spouse(s) can now move to one of the four faction homes depending on completion of their respective Questlines.

As with any mod that is an overhall, like this one; it is recommended to perform a hard save in Skyrim before you begin using it. The hard save will give you something to fall back on in worse-case scenarios. Feedback is always appreciated (even if I can be very busy and slow to respond) and absolutely welcome. If you truly enjoy this mod please remember to give it an up-rating with green thumbs up.

This mod doesn't really work.. I can ask Narri and Hroki to marry me, so that part works, but I don't have the "divorce" dialogue option or any other added dialogue options with my spouse. I tried moving this mod to the top of my load order, but that didn't help. Are there any mods out there that are possibly incompatible with this one?

Ok. Thanks for your reply.

If you divorce your wife they will hate you forever and will not be able to remarry them. Questions like these are answered in the Frequently asked questions and troubleshooting guide above.

Hello? If I divorce my wife (in the game mind you!) can I always remarry her? I know I can marry other women, but can I go back to her again?

GENERAL UPDATE:
The final touches of the mod are coming together. The update history (change log) link above reveals details about what is to come with the next update. Cicero will not be ready by this weekend's update; but, the fixes to the lover's comfort buff are in place. There will also be a new option to send your primary or any secondary spouse to live in any of the faction houses the Dragonborn can earn (Jorrvaskr, Arch-Mage's Quarters, Dawnstar Sanctuary, or the Thieves Guild Headquarters). There will also be some other bug fixes.

@Mass Effect 3; Often when you first get to you house with additional spouses, you have to wait an hour or so for them to arrive there. If that doesn’t work look in the original location the spouse was and tell them again to live where you choose.
@That warrior from hammerfell; did sanguine actually say that to you? I’ll look into this but that could be a neat lore-unfriendly mod to marry sanguine. He apparently, if that is his blocking topic while wearing the amulet, has the “MaleDrunk” voice type; which makes sense.
@Fromnowon, Bonkster, Ben39402; I’m glad you like it!
@Warsun99; If you have 2 spouses in the same house they co-habitat. If you want to watch them fight with one of your housecarls drop a necklace or ring on the ground near them; then you will get a funny fight scene between them.

OK so what happens when you get 2 spouses in the same house.Do they fight each other to the death an tear up the house or do they just stand there?

Thank you so much!

"You're wearin' mara's amulet?.... I'd marry you.... I'd marry you twice!" -Sanguine
So THIS is what he meant.
