Fatigue Tweak

Description
This simple mod makes units in heavy fatigue stages much slower and makes running units fatigue more. It also removes the nonsensical armor debuff that fatigued units experience and gives them heavier melee stat debuffs. Full changelist below:
  • In Very Tired status:
    • Effective armor value buffed from 90% to 100%.
    • Effective unit speed nerfed from 85% to 75%.
    • Effective melee attack nerfed from 80% to 70%.
    • Effective melee defence nerfed from 100% to 80%.
  • In Exhausted status:
    • Effective armor value buffed from 65% to 100%.
    • Effective charge bonus nerfed from 75% to 60%.
    • Effective unit speed nerfed from 85% to 50%.
    • Effective melee attack nerfed from 80% to 70%.
    • Effective melee defence nerfed from 100% to 80%.
    • Effective reload rate nerfed from 65% to 60%.
  • Fatigue per tick when running nerfed from 3 to 9 for infantry and from 4 to 7 for cavalry.
  • Fatigue per tick when shooting buffed from 21 to 14.
  • Fatigue per tick when idle buffed from -14 to -25.
  • Fatigue per tick when idle in rain buffed from -6 to -15.
  • Fatigue per tick when idle in snow buffed from -2 to -10.

Love the sound of this. I feel like in the base game (or any mod so far) has not really considered fatigue. I want to pay attention and take advantage of things like that. I just felt that it never really mattered. But with your mod, it does! Thank you!

@JBStoryTeller It shouldn't confilct. It should also work for all units, including sfo units.

does it conflict with sfo?

@Planewalker
One thing to do is not have them run. Walking and running are the same speed for flying creatures, the only difference being that while running they won't get staggered when damaged excessively.

About flying units: they do seem to become fatigued rather fast, is it something you could look into?
Cheers

Ok that might explain it then, because they were in exhausted status.
Odd "feature", though i could understand the need to get actual rest.

Will have to keep my units from reaching exhausted.

Ok, cool. IIRC, in older total war games units could recover from very tired, but couldn't recover from exhausted, and just stayed exhausted. I haven't noticed that in warhammer, but maybe it is there...

I don't use radious or other mods that affect fatigue.

I will test it some more, to see if i can give you some more details, but i did experience the things i described. It was two fire mages(empire) that never got their fresh status back btw, and a frostheart phoenix(HE) that bugged out.

I know about walking my units into battle; it's all i do when i can. :D

Besides, you are supposed to walk units to battle (select them while moving and press R), and only use run when absolutely necessary (e.g. flanking with cavalry). At least I wanted to make it like that with the mod.

I tested it. 25 meters? I ran flying units and cavalry to the other end of the map, and they only got winded, and recovered very quickly. If I ran infantry to the other end of the map, they got exahausted, but recovered in about 1 minute in-game time. Maybe you have a total overhaul mod like Radious? That *could* interfere with fatigue.
