Is there any effort going on to update this?

I appreciate the well informed reply i appreciate all the work the modders are doing to keep this game relevant ive been attempting to mod myself just simple ones though.

It works on some elements, but largely needs to be rewritten due to item renaming being done a different way, instead using localization strings. My mods are currently postponed for being updated to the new build until multiplayer launches.

I'd assume this mod currently isnt running that well in 41 last i seen item Tweaker API was having issues with the jewelry and watches.

o nvm i found the part i did credit the original author lol i must have removed the link at some point

o ic, my mod dont add category labels mine just took the original format & extended it to include new items & updates.

also just noticed at one point in time i lost my info crediting the original auther i have no idea when this happened >.< ill have to fix this when i have time!

REALLY not into PZ solo so not a big fan of beta right now, if im not playing with ppl it just loses all its fun, i like to RP as the doctor in a group :3

This mod renames items for better ordering, but also adds a variety of new Category labels so players can click the Category header in the inventory windows to sort that way - keeping reading items together, food, materials, etc. The categories have remained working in 41 but not the names, however after doing some digging, it seems the new translation features either broke or took priority over Item Tweaker API's ability to change item names.

Categories and other attributes (such as UseDelta) all still get changed correctly by the API, so only the method for changing item names need to be updated. I'll be migrating item renaming to use the Translations soon.

This has the chance of having a few issues with other mods if they have their own translation strings for items, but that will likely depend on mod load order. I'll be keeping an eye on how that all pans out in this beta version as mod load order seems to have some new quirks. This may be related to your mod issues.

with my mod i noticed it was not working so i made a new beta beta version that did not use the API, but instead the new translation feature i found to change based off id name instead of name!

but it also seems my mod was never really getting enabled when i was playing... cus new one did not work either...

but found out how to make sure it is enabled,
go into load click the more option make sure mod is seleced maybe re-select than load game it than magically started to work...

have not tested my old version with this methid but i already spent 6-8hrs working on the version that dont need the api so ya.

also i have a quick question for the auther of this mod, i never used this one i just got flagged and subbed in kinda >.< lol

all this time i was thinking your mod added some kinda wedge to the item list to categories items better...?
but im starting to wonder if its just a update to the old version but including other mod support?

I've been playing IWBUMS with this mod and had no issue like that. If you have the Item Tweaker API enabled, the only likely issues I can think are a mod conflict or a possible issue with the Item Tweaker API itself, since it has not been updated to 41 and some aspects of particular items has changed.

I'm looking into what other methods I might be able to use that play nicely with 41 as the API has an issue (it's not properly changing item names though it's affecting other things correctly.)
