Sericulture

Description
Sericulture, or silk farming, is the cultivation of silkworms to produce silk. With this mod you can have your very own silkworm habitat in your home and produce silk without having to hunt those pesky spiders.

Find special boxes of silkworms off the NPCs in the differant thrall camps in the desert to start your silkworm habitat.
(This item currently will not drop off any of the Highlands NPCs. This may be updated in the future.)

Add leaves of berry plants to your silkworm habitat to feed the silkworms and they will produce gossamer to make silk.

The byproduct of gathering the gossamer is lots of cooked bugs. What is one to do with all these leftover bugs? Eat them of course.

Recipes have been added to make candied bugs at the campfire.
Candied bugs require bugs (lots of them) and honey. You can also spice them up by adding spice!

Updated for farming. You should now be able to grow leaves with your berry plants.

My bad. Berry leaves is given in advanced planter. Silly me. Lol :-)

SO!, Silkworm habitat works and berry leaves can only be obtained by going out to the desert and collecting berry bushes. Growing the berry plant in planter does NOT give leaves. Wish that could be fixed. Same as what @MommaGameZ said. Please look into this.

Any more word on fixing the silkworm habitat and berry plants producing leaves? It would be an awesome part of the mod if it worked.

@michael, I am not certain if Raz0rKitten is coming back to support the Mod. She has given us permission to include it in Emberlight though.

@Raz0rKitten Thank's for the nice mod. I've tested it but it prevents SeedMod from producing seeds. In this case I have to collect berry seeds again to grow berry bushes.
In this case 4 leafs for 1 silk as outcome is just to much grinding in relation with a short run to collect gossamer.
Maybe you can have a look, why your mod prevents the other mod to produce the seed.
If a can run both mods, then it would be a nice permanent silk production.
But at all a quiet nice mod.

If AoC changes the loot drop on the berry bushes it would cause them to not drop the berry leaves. Other than that i don't think there could be a conflict

Ixtab, is it possible that you haev another mod which affect harvesting resources? if so try putting Sericulture at the bottom of the list to see if that fixes it.
