New Weapon Range Tables WOTC + LWOTC

Description
Basically changes ALL weapons in game to a more proper table.

Includes the Bullpup rifle range fix.

ADVENT Tables have a linear penalty for super long ranges since XCOM never takes a 10% or less shot.

You'll have to adjust your playstyle a bit, you cant just run up next to an opponent and fire in his face with any weapon. Some weapons require an optimal range of 3 tiles away, pick your spots carefully.

Beyond 17 tiles, the maximum range penalty applies. You already have a Squadsight penalty, there's no need to penalize any further than that and most firearms cant reach 18 tiles. But if you add the lines, you can make a penalty for any range you want beyond.

Sniper Rifle: Sniper Table
Assault Rifle: Rifle Table (Includes all militia, like the VIP escorts, Resistance units, etc.)
SMG: SMG table (legacy code, left it there to support future SMG pack and can also be used for weapon packs for 3rd party)

Avatars: LMG table (It fires like a cannon)
Hunter Rifle: LMG table (Wanted to prevent usage at point blank)
Shadowkeeper: Pistol table
Hunter Axe: Range bonuses NOT SUPPORTED by XCOM 2, bug
Spark Rifle: LMG table
Vektor Rifle: Semisniper table, its own table.
Bullpup: Rifle table (Customizable)
Sidearm: Pistol table

Sectoid: Pistol table
Stun Lancers: Rifle table
CounterOps: Sniper table
Troopers: Rifle table
Turrets: LMG table (YES, this makes standing next to a turret less dangerous than away from it!!! By design!!!)
Captains: Rifle table
Shieldbearers: Rifle table
Andromedon: Rifle table
Muton: Rifle table
Viper: Rifle table
Archon: LMG table (I want the Archon to be penalized for firing too close)
Viper Tongue: Rifle table
ADV Mecs: LMG table
Sectopods: LMG table
Codex: Rifle table
Gatekeeper: The Gatekeeper doesnt use a Range Table, this will be fixed in a separate mod. Currently the aim modifier is always 0.

ADVENT Warlock Mod: Rifle table

Neonate, Viper King, Archon King: LMG table.

Feral MEC, Julian: LMG table.

Chosen: All guns have their corresponding tables adjusted just like XCOM, but with the ADVENT screenshot table.

Spectre: Rifle table
Priest: Rifle table

The Bullpup rifle fix is not required with this mod, do not use it.

Is it possible to expose to config all the range tables by tier (i.e. conventional, magnetic, beam)? One problem with this mod is that you lose the ability to assign weapon ranges based on tier.

@ADVENT Avenger - I am playing LWOTC and there is a problem with LMGs, as they are using standard LWOTC tables. Rest of the weapons work properly with new range tables.

I went a bit less with the values but I also got Extra HP for everyone (I think it's called).
Think I've balanced my game while still making it Legendary tough. And I get to keep your mod too :steamthumbsup:

Well to answer myself for anyone else who wonders here,
I'd say it is more realistic, longer ranger battles, which is cool. But a lot harder.

Advent are nailing my guys in full cover a lot more often. The stormtrooper aim for early enemies is gone.
I've had more deaths behind full cover in the past few hours than I have in my 700 hours haha

Trying to play legendary no deaths is near impossible now and unfortunately for me, that's how I prefer to play. :hunted:
