So, have you ever wondered what snack would go best while playing? Here are our suggestions!

1. Chips

This might arguably be the most popular gamer food known to man. Not only do they taste good, but they are cheap and convenient as well –available in every store near you. From potatoes to cornmeal, chips have been regular in every gamer’s desk.

Downside: Even if chips are a great gamer snack, they seem to have big downsides as well. Chip bits and residues can keep your gaming area messy – they can even drop inside those keyboards. There is this inevitable “chip fingers” where the flavoring is stuck at your fingers. These flavors will then rub off some grease to your gears. Just prepare a handful of tissues or some alchogel to keep your hands clean.

2. Fries

Probably just an upgrade to chips, French fries are also great pick-foods that are comfortable eating while playing. They are delicious and can be conveniently purchased at the nearest fastfood restaurant/food stall.

3. Ice Cream

Ice cream is also a popular gaming snack. Its sweet taste is a fan-favorite to the young gamers out there. Especially in this hot summer season, ice cream can surely beat the heat wave and keep you going. Try having a bootcamp session with your friends and get a large tub of ice cream for everyone to share.











Downside: Ice cream doesn’t last long enough for a whole gaming session since they melt quick. This can get expensive as well.

4. Pizza

Pizzas are a great gaming snack. One whole pizza can last you a whole-nighter session and can even keep your belly full. They taste really good and are healthy as well. The best part with pizzas is that the crust can be used as a handle which keeps your hands away from grease. Pizzas are not that expensive as well since there are a lot of food stalls that offers good pizza but does not cost much. You can also share a whole pizza together with your friends as you have your gaming sessions on overnights.

5. Pancit Canton

The Filipino favorite! Pancit Canton is a noodle dish that comes in different flavors. While there is the traditional bilao pancit, there is also the pack-sized pancit that can be bought in sari-sari stores. What gamers like is the cheap pancit canton that comes in packs (Lucky Me, Nissin, etc). Gamers find this a great gaming food since it is delicious, cheap and easy to prepare. Its aroma is also distracting. Try going to a cybercafé and order pancit canton. Once it is served, expect other café-goers to order the same stuff. They will envy you for your food. You can eat this easily while playing too - just a quick grab of the plate and eat. No mess, all fun.

We suggest you buy the cup noodles or play at a Mineski cybercafé shop and order a plateful of these goodies.

Honorable mentions

These are the snacks that are definitely good but just barely fell out of the list. They are still worth the mentions though.

Burger

Burgers are a great gamer snack especially to the guys. However, the way burgers are eaten with two hands makes them a burden to eat. Burgers can really be messy too as the patty, the sauce and those lettuces can fall off your burger.
