DESCRIPTION = Geoscape custom UI elements
SUMMARY = Regions & Continent Bonuses receive unique symbols.

Let's repeat the intro from the XCom2+LW2 version.. just for clarity!

This project was just some HUD enhancement dream(s) for awhile and nearly as much, also UC script encoding nightmare(s). Then.. during (last year) a wildly coincidental chat with ObelixDK -- now..CX community C.E.O!), i recalled how the LW-Pedia_DB Mod (For XC1-EU/EW) concept was handled to try limiting any cumbersome development mechanics; by exploiting (if & when possible) the Localization files HTML formatting features.

What follows are the results... still in bits, parts & pieces and yet -- now yours!

PS; The reasoning behind this HUD enhancement is extremely simple; modular QoL device(s) that makes it easy to detect almost anything while offering some "cool" visual assets.


INSTALLATION

This will show up in your Launcher of choice but must be used ONLY within War of The Chosen gameplay... then, Click the box & off you go.


CURRENT ISSUES

1) Please, let me know if you find anything wrong. But the XC2 version helped in ironing out the principal "flaws".

2) Share your thoughts, observations, remarks. I might just consider or prioritize any of them, eventually.


FUTURE PLANS

-- Create new POI symbols,
-- Add custom GuerillaOps splashers by replacing the common black Advent Trooper,
-- Insert somewhat bigger and more colorfull XCom Logos (as seen in the Vanilla version) when Chosen lose control of Regions,
-- I'll think of something else!!

@jat11241976, no conflict with that (and many other) Mod since it simply uses a direct UI hook via HTML localization steps & custom HUD assets.

That's probably what he was referring to back then.
BUT.. as i indicated in Jan/18, my coding methods do not touch "gameplay systems" directly at all.

@Duskblade are you using auto loot on your game? I have read and found that that mod uses a TON of memory for some odd reason and slows the game down bad. Most people I have talked to no longer use it cause its using too much of your pc and slows the game speed down.

Doubtful.. since it only adds a few assets (16 Mini-Logos for Regions & 15 Continent Bonuses symbols) to the regular INT file entries via HTML instructions. If you have an extremely limited PC (Video Ram, etc) -- it might cause a very slight delay though, i have to admit.
In which case, there's nothing i can do about it.

Does this slow down the GeoScape? Because I am having problems using it becasue it is slow. Idk if it is this mod, I am trying to find out
