Churches of Lalibela Wonder

An icon of the legendary Christian heritage of the African state of Ethiopia, the Churches of Lalibela are carved from the very rock which surrounds them. Named after a 12th century ruler, who reputably recieved a vision instructing him to build the site there, the churches are arranged in such a way that many believe them to be a 'New Jerusalem' constructed following the conquest of Jerusalem by the Islamic warlord Saladin in 1197. Ingame, the Churches cause all specialists to yield an additional +1 Faith.
