Hi peeps, here's a mid week upload for you all. Something a bit different from me this time. This is my sort of own attempt on a Chance Astro Wheel Skydiver.

I remember when i was a very young kid seeing one of these, it was my first and last. I have never been on it but i have always wanted to...i've never seen one again actually come to think of it....i might not be paying attention to be honest ahaha :D

I made this using a series of images and videos off the internet so i dont know how accurate it is. I know some things i have changed like the supports because they was just too close to the ride, think of it as my own take on a skydiver.

I was in two minds to upload this since im not sure if anyone would make use of it but i have anyway for everyone. Anyway this was the best i could do with objects in game. Those eagle eye will notice the wheel has a gap in it but i tried to hide this because i never noticed when i was making the wheel that it each section was smaller than i calculated.

****Updated the lights so they're less triangular and more curved****

RE-EDITED:
-Updated the booth and sign a tiny bit

Remember lower it to the ground

oh , your ride looks great , just as i remember it. Just wish it would work with people. also while i am at it , the Sky Wheel, Double Ferris Wheel, why can't someone make one of those that work.
Just a thought.

Chance mfg. in Wichita Kansas built the Sky Diver ,Wichita had an amusement park named Joy Land and Chance would bring it's new rides to Joy Land to try it out on us kids. I was one in a thousand or 2 or 3 or more to ride this ride before it went out on the road. It's been around for a long time. I was around 16 or so at that time, i am 73 now . Just thought i would pass that along.

@ darthtyran, hahahaha i think that's wonderful and in fairness its something id probably do too haha. I never had the pleasure to ride one to this day but i hold out hope that when i am able to (and its safe) to travel again to America that maybe i'll stumble across one and have a go, but i get sick easier these days as i get older hahahaha. Sounds like your brother deserved that moment of sickness then :steamhappy:

I was in the 8th grade... I tricked my 6 year old brother to ride it with me telling him it was a Ferris Wheel... We get in and as we climb a 1/4 of the way he realizes that the cars flip using the steering wheel. He demands to have control of the steering wheel so I let him have it knowing that he is not strong enough to hold the car upright... So when we are up at the top his arms give and he lets go of the steering wheel and the car flips several times and all you could hear was the frantic howling of a 6 year old... LOL I can see it to this day in my mind. Yes it was rotten to do that... but before you judge me.. the little bugger deserved it! He made Denis the Menace look like an angel.

Hi jslocum131, thank you so very much for your words. Chance sky wheel? sorry i'm from the UK and i don't think i've ever seen one in reality haha. I can certainly make you one if you have some good images or pictures of the one you want me to make

I love your work, the sky diver and orbiter are amazing. i would love to see you make the Chance Sky wheel. Its a beautiful ride the commands respect, all though not very exciting. I think you can pull it off, it was a ride in it"s day that was majestic. It stood proud over the midway, its sad to see it fade away.

Thanks No, i remembered it as a child and thought i wonder what it would look like in game so i made it lol. Interesting name too btw haha
