=== UPDATED August 9, 2017: Improved textures. ===

I ported Peter's model without having played the game, or even watching a YouTube playthrough video of the game. I did a Google image search, but I discovered that was inadequate. Unfortunately, I discovered that AFTER I had released the model. Turns out the Telltale textures were a big mess. Some of the diffuse textures were mislabled specular, etc. I didn't realize how badly off they were until I watched a bit of gameplay on YouTube. So, after much Photoshopping, and experimenting with VMT settings, I've redone almost ALL of Peter's textures. They look much closer to the in-game textures now, and more importantly, just look better in SFM.

If you downloaded Peter prior to August 9, 2017, please re-download and let it overwrite the old files if/when asked. I made no changes to the model itself, just the VMT/VTF files.

=== end of update ===

Thanks to a generous soul gifting me a copy of Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy, I'll be taking a short break from porting Tales from the Borderlands models in order to port the 5 main characters from Guardians of the Galaxy for her.

First up, Peter Quill (a.k.a. Starlord)!

Peter has body groups for his head, torso, walkman, jet boots, scanner, and belt/guns/holster. There is one alternate skin (which only shows if he isn't wearing the helmet), for a cut on his lip.

There are no face flexes, but there are face bones (a LOT of face bones) to pose instead. He is compatible with the biped_simple rig (or any custom rig that works with biped_simple models).

If you use this model, send me a link to the finished project; I'd love to see it!

Do not repost/upload these models elsewhere... certainly do not claim it as your own work. Please ask before porting to a different format.

Unfortunately, I only know how to work with SFM models. But, if you (or someone you know) is interested in converting this to GMOD, send me a message and I'll see what we can work out. :)

@FoxBoy right-click on Peter's model name over in the "Animation Set Editor" window (probably left-most column, if you haven't moved your SFM windows around). Scroll down to "set body groups." You'll see all the body groups listed. The helmet is under "head." The second option (mask.dmx) is the helmet. :)
