Fat Man and Little Boy

Description
This mod allows players without easy access to Uranium to still have some value to constructing the Manhattan Project. Completing the Manhattan Project will reward the player with a free Atomic Bomb unit (even if the player does not have access to Uranium).

In addition, the first person to complete the Manhattan Project will receive two free Atomic Bombs, named Fat Man and Little Boy.

This mod *should* be compatible with saved games; although, players in a loaded game who have already constructed the Manhattan Project prior to loading the mod will not receive the free unit(s).

This mod seems to have a duplication bug when loading a saved game. I thought my Uranium count was off but it was just used by the duplicate bombs in my capital.

@HenryBlachman:
The mod is entirely LUA and XML, so it should work on mac. I don't have a mac, so I can't test it. If you do download and run it, please let me know if it works or if you have issues. Thanks.

If it's actually Hydrogen, I don't think we will be reading manga nowaday. Or get Sony or sushi even in Japan itself.

JEELEN hydrogen bombs were thought of but the other scientists in the manhattan project just rejected the idea

I don't know if he was trying to troll me thinking I was trying to troll him? But I mean you have google right? Look it up.

Well, that was alot of rant... Anywho, it was uranium from Congo that made the Manhattan Project possible (the second bomb was a plutonium bomb). Hydrogen bombs weren't thought of until 1952.

then hell we english are always told in school those two were made with hydrogen and that they was just hygroden bombs lol so really cant be blamed for that as about 6-7 million children in england all somehow learn that hiroshima and nakasaki bombs were built using hydrogen as an explosive force well thats the english education system boned for you as i was never alone everyone in my year was told that is was a hydrogen bomb not a uranoum or plutonium bomb lol so if some low life troll wanted to ruinmy day i guess they got to think twice

The reason for the free bomb without Uranium is supposed to be a balance issue:
It allows ALL civs, regardless of Uranium access, to create at least one nuclear weapon to use as a deterrent to attack. This way, even without access to Uranium, there is still value to building the Manhattan Project. Just like civs can build pikes and cannons without iron, it is assumed that there is enough trace supplies of Uranium or Plutonium for every civ to be able to scrap together at least one bomb.

Real-world inspirations include modern-day Iran, which (as I understand) is dependent on imports of uranium (primarily through the black market) in order to run its enrichment experiments.

I have considered making it so that having access to Uranium speeds up the construction of the Manhattan Project, but I haven't gotten around to implementing that yet.

@The Gaming Oddity you are incredibly wrong. lol

Fat Man was a Plutonium implosion type and Little Boy was Uranium Based.

Try to read up before you try and pass facts.
