Railguns are really versatile. First, you can have Railgun-carrying dogfighters take them on and suddenly become interceptors, or have jets carrying railguns flashing those cute lines of plasma, or have ace combat protagonists stealing the enemie's planetary defence railguns and using them for air defence like, "Haha, got your railgun!' That's just way too cute! Also, ships with railguns! I really like when their railguns have that suspicious sounding vuoooom, and it's amazing how it can sound really cool or just be a show-off. I really like how it can fulfill all those abstract needs. Being able to switch up the sabots and charges of railguns based on your mission is a lot of fun too! It's actually so much fun! You have those coilguns, or the gauss cannons, everything! It's like you're enjoying all these kinds of railguns at an armory. I really want Lockheed Martin to make some on or USAF to try some on to replace the SPAMRAAMS. We really need railguns to become a thing in air doctrine and start selling tchem to NATO countries. Don't. You. Think. We. Really. Need. To. Officially. Give. Everyone. RAILGUNS?
