It's an igavania so of course its overrated, mid castle design, and easy. But the randomizer saves this otherwise a pretty mid metroidvania all around.

Truly a sequel of all time to one of the funniest games of all time (Welcome to Hanwell).

Weakest game of the trilogy but its still very good. Beautiful pre rendered backgrounds mixed with a simple gameplay loop and memorable castle. It's filler until the real masterpiece of the trilogy comes to steam samurais destiny. The water room puzzle is hard but once it clicks its not bad at all. Overall a 7/10 and one of capcoms finest in terms of boss battles and general movement. Onimusha 2 is the best of the trilogy by far but even so this game is worth a playthrough just to see the amazing pre rendered stuff.

On a final note the issen in this game feels worse than oni 2's but that could be because I am not on a crt anymore.

This game is pure bliss unlocked something in me I thought was dead, price is a bit steep but if you have any nostalgia for the era this game is clearly mimicking do yourself a favour.

It's no Frogger : The Great Quest but its still funny af.

Cannot rebind controls and cannot get the controller working with mods either, avoid.

Utterly fantastic remake of a staple survival horror game

This game feels like if Nintendo kept going with the traditional dungeon format but with botw style combat/rpg system its actually a very cool Zelda like (with dungeon/dungeon map/dungeon items).

Reminds me of cereal box or dollar general games

As much as I loved super dungeon maker, this not only improves the combat drastically its just more fun to play overall. Its also getting weekly/monthly new combat while super dungeon maker is dead now. So this is the new kid on the block and I look forward to seeing this complete with a story mode, more dungeon items/themes etc.
