Dead Space 3 isn’t an amazing game. It’s not awful. But it’s not amazing. The gameplay for the most part is pretty similar to Dead Space 2. The movement still feels great, and the gunplay is still pretty solid. The visuals have improved a little bit, but not by much. The story is very hit or miss. The concept of Tau Volantis and the Brethren Moons is cool, but the whole love story with Isaac and Ellie annoyingly takes center stage. Dead Space 3 introduces universal ammo, and I can’t understand why. Dead Space 1 and 2 had a perfectly balanced ammo system and should not have been changed in the third installment. Weapons and your suit are no longer upgraded with power nodes. The power node system has been replaced with what I can only call a piece of ♥♥♥♥. Weapon crafting is pretty cool but can easily become ridiculous. I shouldn’t be able to put a flamethrower on a plasma cutter. Automatic weapons are introduced in Dead Space 3, and it is the dumbest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing ever. Microtransactions also exist for whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason and should be ignored at all costs. The Co-Op is kind of fun, but single-player is still the superior experience. Human enemies now exist and are just awful. They feel terrible to fight and have no place in a Dead Space game. Some Necromorphs can also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ USE GUNS NOW APPARENTLY?!? Dead Space 3 is a pretty bad experience. While I do enjoy playing it, I’d rather play the first two Dead Space games.

Actually, i found myself running back to the storage constantly .. because of stocked up ammo filling my inventory, (but you cant see my DS1 hours on here because they cleared it, i can still play it on Origin and im doing that now for the 4th time, but i won't finish it, because i want to finally start DS2, moving on) So yeah a got tons of ammos tocked up, and i think Universal Ammo is a thing because.. i either had too much ammo i wasn't using (line racks ...that wide gun), or i ran out of ammo for the first gun.. i think it was called the bolt cutter, and the machinegun rifle i also occasionally used also... often had too much ammo stacked up ..of that, which was less space for medkits and This is the real weakness of the first DS, not enough inventory space, besides that the first game is amazing, I will see if the 2nd is as legendary as they say..very soon.
