UPD: 100+ hours in, still playing, still having a lot of fun, it still works like doodoo, it's still hard to recommend. Capcom left everyone in the dark after the 29th of March patch with zero communication with players. No news, no announcements, no updates, which is a bum out.

Performance is terrible indeed, especially in major cities. Having MTX in a single player game is gross but I'm 100% sure that if the game was working the way it should, no one would even bother mentioning MTX and RE4 REMAKE is a proof. The game itself is incredibly fun, but it's impossible to recommend in its current state. Buy at your own risk or wait until it's fixed.

It's a good story focused game and, probably, the worst thing about story focused games is that sometimes they have to be played the way they were intended by the developers. Hated that trial and error aspect deeply quite a few times throughout the game. Hugo's stealth chapter was extremely boring, Vitalis fight was very epic but extremely annoying, I did die more than I ever had at any point of the game lol. Moving on to Requiem now because in 2024 I'm actually gonna finish all the games that collect dust in my library 😆
