Early Access Review
End of Act 2 review update.

Okay, I just finished Act 2 and woah this game is super impressive. No spoilers, but something happens at that point that opens up the gameplay a lot more. And I am expecting similar things after future acts.

Honestly, this is the sort of strategy meets ARPG game I've been wanting for a while, and they brilliantly executed the time traveling mechanics.

And the gameplay is super solid.
Aside from one frustrating moment where I came out of the overview mode while on top of a void stone when the gate opened and I ended up with the player stuck inside a rock so I had to teleport out (and by proxy needing to restart because I needed that echo in the right place at the right time), I have encountered no other bugs in the game. It doesn't feel at all janky. Combat feels good and so does the strategy aspect.

It's quite challenging on the standard difficulty too, but I don't see that as a negative, really. You may fail parts of missions repeatedly, but the missions are either: A. relatively short or B. they have checkpoints, so you don't have to start from scratch. I honestly think the game would be a lot more boring if you didn't end up replaying missions and trying to perfect your strategy to win.

Devs... if you read this... YOU NEED TO GET SOME MORE CONTENT CREATORS COVERING THIS AMAZING GAME. <3

Original First Impressions below.

To be completely honest, I was unsure if this game could live up to its premise.

But I am 100% blown away with it after playing for an hour and finishing the first act.

I've played several of the recent games exploring time loops, but most of the games that seemed most interesting were PVP focused (like Quantum League and Lemnis Gate), which to be completely honest unless I am playing with friends just wanting to goof around, are not really my cup of tea.

This one, however, is a very pleasant surprise of being a full single player & Co-Op story driven game. I wish more creatively strategic and games would explore this theme. Congrats to the Devs on launching this outstanding game. You should be proud of your achievement.

I don't know the viability of it but you should 100% be reaching out to more streamers and content creators to check this out. If I hadn't noticed the demo at the Next Fest (which I didn't play, I just wish-listed for launch) I probably would never have known to check this gem out.
