Had the original game years before I had my current Steam Account. Somehow I'd missed out on the news this one was even in development till a few days before launch.

Amazing God Game/Strategy Puzzler. Game expands in complexity as you do more "runs", the earlier ones are more compact, but you can scale the difficulty to your liking not just by setting an overall difficulty setting but also choosing different choices when progressing to the next era, some way more challenging than others.

The symbiosis/synergy system is absolutely top notch and I think many gamedev teams could learn from some of the great things accomplished here.

Funnily enough the way you do "runs" reminds me a lot of the compartmentalized experiences in Against The Storm, which is one of my all time favorite games. Terraforming reminds me a little of Terra Nil for those who have also played that game. However neither of those is a god game, and the way that this one, Reus 2, as a god game... the way handles the freedom of choice along with tons of content is something truly special.

Congrats to the devs at Abbey Games, this one was even better than I thought it could be!

Enjoyed it in early access but wanted to wait after about 3 hours gameplay during early access for the full release to arrive.

Well it has now done so and the campaigns (there are now 2 campaigns, one focused on stock vehicle challenges and one on building your own) are way more polished. The Voiceovers are done well and the destruction gameplay is as good as it ever was. Definitely think it's worth picking up at the launch sale price!

The popular review claiming "Forced Paradox Account" is as legit as a certain wig-wearing orange's "Stolen Election"!

Awesome voxel factory/automation game. Been waiting for something like this since Fortresscraft Evolved ceased development a few years back, and even in early access this feels way more promising.

Nice chill tower defense game with some inspiration from Rogue Tower/Isle Of Arrows style gameplay but puts it's own awesome spin on it. Hex tiles feel a lot more versatile than square ones. Barely scratching the surface of the talent tree but expect it will get even better as I explore it more! Love the mix of kingdom rush style minion placement as well as the towers and eco buildings also!

Brilliant game engine. I struggled so much in the past trying to wrap my head around the workflow over a few attempts over several years. But now that I am figuring things out, it's absolutely wild what is in store here for a FOSS software. And it makes perfect sense why it's finally breaking out with games like Halls Of Torment, Cassette Beasts and Backpack Battles being made with it. It's lightweight yet powerful and more importantly, a blast to work with.

Btw my playtime is bugged, it should be way higher, currently there is an issue where sometimes if you close the project manager, amusingly by loading a project, Godot doesn't recognize that it is still open when the project loads up. So all your time working on said project for hours often doesn't show. 😅

One of the best game-art software packages I have ever used. If you have ever been looking to recreate the Dead Cells rendering of animated 3D models to pixel sprites, this can do that and way more. Such a versatile piece of kit, and usable by beginners. You can turn free or bought 2D painted/vector and 3D assets both static and animated into pixel art really easily. Also works really well in tandem with simple 3D tools such as Kenney's amazing Asset Forge. Plus it's one of the coolest software projects made with Godot so that gets an extra thumbs up for me.

Definitely buy, for full price or sale price, unless you are one of those folks who refuses to use anything with a pricetag, in which I say, don't bother, that's fine too! 😅

Played the demo last Next Fest. Was my favorite demo out of the whole event, even compared to two much bigger team RTS games, one of which having the budget of tens of millions. There was no competition in the fun factor between them, Godsworn felt by far the best game to "have fun".

Now I played early access release. New major faction is a ton of fun, love the differences of both new heroes since the demo. For new folks who haven't played before, you are in for a treat, all the heroes are interesting, and even the smaller roster differences of subfaction heroes lead to massively different playstyles because of their varied techs, units and hero leveling.

And my favorite thing about this game, this is an RTS designed to be fun. Not the sweaty tryhard focused type that puts a new player off within hours.

Mostly played the campaign so far in the new release and it seems quite interesting from a storytelling and design standpoint based on what I have played of it.

Of course there are a few things that could be improved, like caster and healer AI and pathing in combat, but this is the first day of Early Access.

In short, this is an amazing game made by a duo of developers that will likely be my favorite RTS release of 2024, and I am so hyped for full release further down the line. If you don't feel compelled to buy, wishlist to support the small devteam, and if you do buy, be sure to leave a review!

For the record I never played the IRL board game as I live very remotely and have no local friends who would be the slightest bit interested in doing so. So I went into this digital version completely clueless and after a few hours I have to say it's one of the best designed board games I have ever played and it has a brilliant cunning AI which can be a challenge even on easy and normal levels depending on experience.

Strategies are diverse even with a board and UI that can all fit on a single screen. The pacing of the game is perfect: might be a bit longer in PvP matches, but playing against bots it's a very rewarding experience for the time required to complete a game.

I am so excited for the first expansion in the summer and I hope the devs will bring all the developments and expansions from their real life version to the digital version here, recommended to several friends and plan to buy and learn every expansion myself, even for singleplayer this is an insanely fun strategic digital board game for a great price.

Never expected it to be quite this fun! More games need asynchronous multiplayer options like this. Never gonna have a situation where the game is "dead" due to lack of playerbase with an async multiplayer option like this game has. Nice to hear realtime lobbies are also coming further down the line too!

Hint: when you are new those extra survival rounds can be absolutely brutal punishing, at least in the unranked mode where you aren't facing similarly skilled players, just random ones.

First ranked game I played I never lost a single life, so don't think the ranked mode will mince you when you are getting going with the game.

Might end up being my favorite "competitive multiplayer" game of the year, and unlike many of you I never even played the demo. The amount of item fusion combos is incredibly compelling too and I can't wait to figure out a bunch more recipes.

Had tons of fun with the game in the preorder early access period despite some minor UI/UX nuisances and hurdles (the fun was definitely worth the minor annoyances).

Fundamentally it's more my kind of game than Mudrunner and Snowrunner, both of which I also loved don't get me wrong, but I was always more interested in the exploration of maps at a slow "Zen like" experience than I was trying to figure out the best way to manage a 4 time return trip hauling heavy goods without the route(s) becoming completely unusable.

This game does a much better job of making exploration fun and interesting and I believe it to also be a lot more welcoming to newcomers to the series. Scouts are less of an afterthought compared to the heavier trucks and the new gadgets are a ton of fun!

Definitely recommend especially at the base price, but I was happy with the preorder price I got on Humble Bundle for one of the higher tier editions.
