The best digital game series ever made..
The update online skirmish is the one which makes people come back and play..

Waiting for the next DLC expansion "the immortality and uprising".

It's not a strategy game!

I played more than 15 hours of this game and I am not recommending it to any DUNE universe fan or a good STRATEGY lover (I was playing mostly on HARD difficulty). Here's why:

1. The game is very RANDOM! You cannot choose a strategy - you have to play with what you get AND if you won't get the right cards - you won't play much...

2. NOT much CHOICE. Despite many alleged choices present on the board you are limited to the cards that you can afford and draw.

3. The game is SHORT! Too short. Max 10 Rounds and WHAT IS THE WORST IS: if you cannot secure certain moves in your first two rounds than your chances of winning plummet... It's basically TWO ROUNDS GAME!!!
Speed up your in-game animations and the game lasts for 15-20 minutes (talking about strategy...).

4. NO ATMOSPHERE of the Dune saga. You cannot feel as you're scheming, plotting, waging campaign based on your own strategy or tactics. This game is - as mentioned above - either you luckily get some random advantage to speed up your moves before other players or you won't and you go down... Sad but true.

This is not a strategy game but just a "get lucky or be dead" kind of game. It's too random to recommend it to any fan of the Dune universe or a strategy game.

I would return it but I cannot...

Love it ... like the boardgame .. can't wait to have another expansion !
