A very innocent beginners mod that is enjoyable for all half-life veterans. I personally think that the voice acting was a little off (half-life is one of those silent protagonist games) and it was pretty funny that some voice effects were super different from each other like when you break your legs. I enjoyed all the strange little places that I was teleported to and specifically liked becoming the dictator I guess? I'm not sure what the story was all about and only used the tutorial mechanic once... Also for some reason after being sent to the moon gravity was turned off for all my saves so I managed to jump out of my dictators office and other areas off the map. 10/10 a very adorable little mod

Great game! You really get to feel like a commander taking control of a massive battlefield. However the vanilla game is very basic and doesn't offer a great realistic gameplay. The modded side of men of war assault squad 2 however is where the real fun is at! Theres a great selection of mods to play that can take you to battles that are not just fought in world war 2. Overall the base game is a 7/10 but with mods its a 10/10.

Pros: - Half life
- Smooth gun play
- Somewhat difficult
- Ok-ish puzzles

Cons: - Werid section where the players screen is blocked by the half life advisor thing while being pulled on by magnets?
- Lots of parkour
- Quicksaving system didn't work for me even through I used console commands ( Tip before playing: Save after every good jump )

Overall a very underrated half life mod. Needs a little more polish and should focus more on combat ( Cause shooting dumb combines is fun ). 69/10 IGN
