Yet another flawless PlayStation-to-PC port by Nixxes, who are consistently praised for this specific type of conversion. I’d fully trust them to handle a future The Last of Us 2 or Bloodborne PC port, if those ever come.

Only complaint is that the online features for this game are bugged on day one, requiring users to navigate to multiple separate folders to get the online features working properly. Admittedly, it’s not much work, but making users go out of their way to access a heavily promoted feature is no bueno

Honestly, for a little under 8 bucks, it's pretty fun. I enjoyed the 'bad' Battlefields like Hardline and 5, so I guess I'm just able to cut these games a lot of slack because of how much I adore the Battlefield formula. Still sucks to see one of my favorite franchises have a massive fall from grace though.

The Nioh comparisons are very apt. This game is basically Nioh gameplay with a Final Fantasy setting. If that sounds appealing to you, you'll probably enjoy this game.

Underneath the technical issues, this is the perfect sequel to one of my favorite games. Hopefully they find a way to optimize it better but I think there's just so, so much going on simulation-wise that this will probably always be an unwieldy game to run.

I have fond memories playing this game on my PlayStation 2 as a kid, but this PC port is kinda trash. Hard-coded 30fps lock and the resolution is all screwed up.

Locked at 30fps. Wtf?

Pretty damn good so far. Looking forward to seeing what they do with the DLCs.
