Want a simpler DOOM with no complicated lore and love "Clayssic" graphics?
Spend the $5 this one up and have some good ol' fun ripping and tearing your way through hordes.
The only three downsides I can see is the limited mod support and lack of achievements and cool steam store stuff, but besides that, give it a shot!

Literally cannot understand what my problem is with this game.
It has all of the proper fixin's for a fantastic horror experience, but between the bullet-wasting sponge zambles, the god forsaken knife, and its over-reliance on putting 20 zambles in one tiny space and expecting you to get through it unscathed, the RE2 remake just isn't for me.
This and all of the other remakes should have the option for a first person mode like the later RE7 and Village titles, maybe that would help Leon stop turning and sliding around like a grandma, BEGGING to be eaten alive.
