I love games with a good story, a beautiful soundtrack and/or atmosphere, RPGs, relaxing games, indie games and puzzlers. DFTBA!

It's so hard to find a game that succesfully straddles the line between being zen enough to play when you don't have the energy for most games, yet still being engaging enough to keep you playing for hours at a time. Turmoil manages exactly that. You slowly watch your profits go up as you explore different plots of lands and drain them of oil, all the while trying to stay ahead of your competitors. It's a fun challenge to figure out which upgrades are worth investing in to maximise your profits. On top of that, you work your way through four different ground types, each with their own game mechanics that add some variety.

If you're a fan of management type games or just want a nice game to relax with, give this one a try!

Mini Metro gives me the same zen kind of enjoyment, and if you're into board games, there's also a really good Steam adaptation of Ticket to Ride (though the different map DLC aren't cheap).
