Uraveling the secrets of Arcadia, has been an in depth, fully on the edge of your seat experience, I think you should go in with no prior knowledge other than it will be a similar gameplay experience to limbo, inside, or little nightmares. Try your best to solve the puzzles first time around, and then later look up a 4 hour walkthrough video, Have fun!!

Overall the game is fun to play and has a very enriching story. It slightly parodies SCP, and in that I think this could be considered one of the first big budget SCP games. Now here are a few problems I personally had with the game. I would say I have a good understanding of this game considering I beat all 10 main missions but also all 18 side missions while I haven't gotten every achievement I have played all the story the game has to offer.

Here are a few critiques I had while playing
- Easy to get lost
It's a very big map, and the objectives are mere vague approximations of where you're supposed to go
- Too Punishing
When you die you will re-spawn at a checkpoint rather than just re-spawning you back in the room where you just were, dying became such an inevitability for me that I eventually turned on the immortality mode during the last few missions in the story just to get through it
- Buggy
I encountered about 6 bugs throughout my play-through one prevented me from entering the room I died in, because of the before mentioned checkpoint system, this did not deter me but it was very frustrating

This chapter felt very lazy for the fact that it shamelessly gained money from it obviously being nothing but a thirst trap. not to say there is anything wrong with killers being thirst traps, like how we have the spirit huntress and plague, however when we think about the spirit for example obviously being the most nude character in the game, she has a lot more character to her. she has an amazing story that relates to her grandfather the oni, the skull merchants only character trait was that she was sexy and I believe that it's important to call out such instances of objectification and sexism in the industry

This game seriously looks really fun, It obviously had a lot of effort put into it but where did all of the marketing go?? I felt like if this game was hyped up months prior to release it would've had amazing reception, I still think it's a great game that deserves a try with your closest friends, when you take this game at it's actual base, no bias, no dbd charm nonsense, it's a good game. I feel so bad for how the release went down and I hope it gets better reception in the future, it's kinda sad that "host a match" being an achievement is actually really difficult because of this...

I think this is the best 3D sonic game released to date, if you disagree you're just nostalgia blind from sonic adventure, this game is amazing. The game play is very fast paced it feels very natural to travel from rail to rail memory to memory, it allows you to decide whether you'd like to walk away from bosses or not nothings really forced. I think its slightly lacking graphically, everything is modeled well, but the lighting and texturing leaves much to be desired, I think it also has some optimization issues with some of the cut scenes that happened with bosses in particular, but the main reason i didn't give it a 5 star was the story, it's really bare bones if i'm being honest, a lot happens while simultaneously nothing at all happens, but like I said gameplay makes up for that, there was a moment in a boss battle where my jaw was visibly dropped i just actually couldn't believe how bad a$$ sonic was, TOTALLY recommend this to everyone

Honestly how could anyone not recommend this game, there's not much to really hate about it, it's an amazing game, regardless if you care about game play or not the comedy makes up for it all, the thing that i didn't like about this game was actually the fact that it was heavily spoiled, you'd scroll on tik tok, and find the same clips over and over and realize they basically just showed you the entire game, so there were parts where i couldn't find funny because i already watched them. its a stellar game, definitely pick this up sale or not

Look it's a fun and nostalgic game, but if you want to do ANYTHING in this game, it costs a ton of money, nothing in this game is easy and there' a lot of things where they force you to spend money such as the wublin island. and everything is waiting forever. You'll play this game for a few minutes then get hit with a 3hr wait time, and it's just too much. I think the games monetary value is catered to higher end players who have monsters on every island and make a ton of money already, but it's almost impossible to do anything when you first start out, I wish they'd remove the monetary part of this game, and add more mechanics to let you earn diamonds skillfully, it can still be an option to buy diamonds, but only adding a mine that gives you a single diamond everyday just isn't enough, especially if you make it cost so 500,000 coins. I love the music in this game, and I wish I could get more into it, but it lacks what clash of clans has, a coherent way to progress in the game without spending money, this isn't freemium this is forced monetary.

I'm typically generous with my ratings, but this game, oh boy, lets start off with the good, the two things that earn this game 2 stars
Music, and Style, this game looks stunning, it's got a very breathtaking style that's satisfying to look at, very similar to that of little nightmares, the music is very whimsical, I love how it syncs up with the game
now the things that kill the entirety of the rest of the game, is the gameplay, the achievements, and the story.
The gameplay is very boring, often times I would quit it, watch a movie and come back to it, it's also very frustrating, you'll slip off rocks and drown in water, SO. MUCH. The achievements are unbareable for me, there's one where you have to be untouched by the enemy, and you can't restart from checkpoints if you fail, you have to restart the entire level, and it's infuriating.

The story to me just felt generic, that one is heavily opinionated, but like I said, I just kept getting bored while playing this, worth a try, but I did not enjoy playing this, don't let the cell shading fool you

The only really bad thing about this game is that it's published by 2k... but I think it's amazing regardless, loved the voice acting the twists in the story, the powers, the world, the references to the old games, it's all pretty great. another thing I disliked, was the way when you interacted with something your character would teleport in a very unnatural way, it bugged me, but not enough to kick off a star, it's great you should try it!
