Far Cry 3 (Minor spoilers ahead)

I bought Far Cry 3, whilst looking for a new shooter, and while it does fulfill that category, it's so much more. Far Cry is easily the most thought provoking and interesting game that I've ever played. While the combat is a bit average (excluding those knife skills!), the perk system is fairly good. The NPCs were very boring, however I liked the emphasis on the Tatau's progression, showing Jason's engulfment into the jungle. This brings me on to my next point. As you play you definatley feel an increasing connection towards the jungle, and it's people. Setting the scene for the arguably real main antagonist: the jungle itself, or rather Jason's reaction to it. Drugs, violence, madness and especially those Alice in Wonderland quotes make this game a real art form, in my eyes. Whether you appreciate it as art, or just a cool new open world, it is still an excellent experience.

Dishonored

Well... Dishonored. I picked this game up with some loose change in my Steam Wallet, during a sale. With an Immersive soundtrack, robust gameplay, striking art style and a riveting plotline, this game is fantastic. I completed Dishonored within the first few days of ownership, before replaying it with a stealthier approach. Even with the subtlety of this change in gameplay, I still noticed massive diffrences in the characters, world and plot. This game is a truly marvellous addition for anyone who appreciates versatile gameplay and an excellent storyline.

Though not without it bugs and hackers, Warface is a very impressive FPS. The gameplay mechanics are well devised, the game is updated frequency and achieving a team built co-op is definately an excellent touch. Well done, CryTek! I do find it hard to locate game rooms in co-op, but I believe this is more to do with the game's small community, as opposed to CryTek. Then again, I do play between 4:00pm to 8:00pm(sometimes), which is quite some time after the mission releases(3:00am). All in all, I think the developers have done as much as they need to; I hope more people will buy the game, to build a better community...

I'm really not sure how to approach this game... It's great in so many different ways: from variety and magnitude of quests; diverse and immersive NPCs; *almost stunning visuals, and the advanced skill and combat system. In 2015, the games technological innovation only scrapes the surface of today's capabilities, but for 4 year old game, it's definately worth it. For £10 (or a fantastic sale), you can try it out for yourself. Not only does the main game achieve great success, but its DLC does too. Some of this content is comparable to an entire game in its self. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim gets a 5 star from me!

Great game! Fun, quirky and with an odd sense of humour, this game really impressed me. It's creepy artwork, and even creepier gameplay, makes it a must have for any Indie fan! Thumbs up...
