A very decent Stardew like game with flaws that can be fixed given more updates.

Lets talk about some of the issues:

Bugs - I never personally encountered any major bugs like others have (Wrong warps and softlocks), however I did notice some characters repeating previous dialogue in cutscenes and Myer phasing in and out of his chair.

The Grind: The game currently is very grindy with upgrades in particular requiring a ridiculous amount of materials and gold. This can be fixed in my opinion by adding a skill system like Stardew Valley where you can gain perks that increase resource collection and speed and perhaps potion selling prices.

The Dog: Although I do not find the dog as annoying as others it does feel like it's missing something. From what I can gather you cannot currently level up it's friendship and all it can learn to do is dig up dirt patches for food. At the beginning of the game characters hint at the dog perhaps eventually becoming a guard dog, but this is either not implemented yet or the idea was dropped.

Romances: The game is scarce on romances in general with apparently some being even bugged, (many people on the Potion Permit subreddit have spoken on the Matheo quest being bugged). Fixing the bugs and adding romances for requested characters like Helen and Runeheart would be great.

Fishing: Fishing is both boring and unclear on it's progression. Apparently you can trigger the level up quest for fishing, but only after a ridiculous amount of grinding and without any indication of how much more you have to do. Reducing the grind and perhaps giving the player a quest when you first get your rod to show progress to next level would be good.

Currently replaying this game after a couple years. My personal pick for best Earthboundlike RPG or whatever you want to label it. Criminally underrated. Amazing story, both the obvious and surprise twists are executed amazingly. I also really like the combat, imagination mechanics, music... well basically everything. A genuine 10/10 game for me.
