Not just an LSD trip

I start playing the game with a friend, do well for a bit, get wiped off the server, rebuild, get wiped again, quit, and yet I still find myself coming back to this game

As with all rogue-likes the main goal is to become a GOD. Isaac does this with much difficulty, but when you finally get that god run, its all worth it

♥♥♥♥♥♥ short mario clone, the controls are very slippery like the old game but somehow a bit worse. There isn't even a final boss, you just throw him in a jail cell because apparently trump can't make money besides being president which is a lie. Most of the enemies at the end of the levels look like the incredibly offensive jew meme in which a long, crooked nosed jew is rubbing his hands together. It is very offensive that they represent republicans and greedy money hungry jews who use money to solve their problems. The game is short, boring, and only was somewhat entertaining due to me and my friends making fun of the game. The entire game has only two sound tracks which just loop and become somewhat annoying to listen to. To top it all of this is a crappy attempt to promote the creators preferred presidential candidate which failed to even achieve that.

Game is great but DE (company who owns the game) doesn't give a damn about anything unless some big name content creator says something against them. (Then they take it as a personal attack on their dev team) Game is grindy as hell, content is always broken on release, and the company is focused on crapping out as much content. (mostly because they keep promising unrealistic ♥♥♥♥) Gameplay is usually smooth and fine unless you are dealing with the broken content or DE's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics. Dedicated servers don't exist and the leader of the party you are in hosts the game, this leads to lag and general frusturation due to Host migration. Host migration occurs when the host of the game disconnects or leaves. This causes you to wait a minute or so for load times and possibly lose all your progress or loot you collected in that game.

The fact that this game is alive and thriving for 12 years surprises me to this day

5/10 game. I still haven't managed to get past the message saying that I can't connect to the servers, but it's a fairly good time waster

I wanted to try out the great grandfather of fps games (fps = first person shooter) and my god I was not disappointed, this game is everything you want in a fps title, fast gameplay, unique weapons and enemies, and it's challenging (if you set it on Ultra-violence which I think is the best difficulty because nightmare is borderline impossible)

The Good - Doom is just a very fun game, each level has little secrets that can help you progress easier and you never know when a demon is going to pop up in front of you and you ask yourself "What do I do Lord?". Each weapon is fun to use except the pistol because its trash, and the way that you get these weapons is in a way that I have not experienced in other games. Normally you get weapons through the levels, but if you have been looking and finding those secrets you can get a really powerful weapon early on. This kind of approach to the progression adds a level of freedom and just lets you go straight back to beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of everything you see. The level design is amazing and as I have said before you never know when you are going to be surrounded by demons and somehow make it out alive.

The Bad - Personally this game has little to no flaws, the graphics and controls may not be that great but keep in mind that this is a very old game, It took me a while for me to get used to the movement system and how the mouse moves your character along with the classic WASD controls, but this somewhat clunky movement allows you to move at extremely fast speeds if you are using both your keyboard and mouse to move.

Overall - 10/10 game the movement is fun to use once you get used to it, the gunplay is just brilliant, and the level design and the aesthetic are just to die for

I had played this game before and enjoyed it. I played It on a friends computer and honeslty loved it. Wish I didn't refend it D:

its a great game but there is a bug in the game that stops me from using the data chip to go to the gamma sector. please fix that bug soon it is very annoying.
