Started the game fighting a low level orc commander named Thorz (forgot his title) and ended up getting killed causing him to get promoted and move up the ladder of commanders in the Nemesis system. Unable to accept defeat I leveled up and got more skills and hunted Thorz down and got my revenge. Hours later into the game while I was exploring the map, Thorz was actually alive and ambushed me from out of nowhere and I killed him during this encounter. Many more hours into the game Thorz once again ambushed me from out of nowhere and for the 3rd time I killed him hoping he wouldn't come back. Finally, I was at, I think second to the last area before the final area of the endgame, and look who's leading an army of orcs in front of the gate? None other than Thorz again but this time he was now called Thorz "The Legend". Sadly this was my last encounter with Thorz and after killing him and finishing the game I felt kind of sad that I would never see my nemesis once again. Big ups to you Thorz. The Nemesis system is so good. Go play this and the sequel because they are really good games especially for those who love The Lord of the Rings.

How to sum up Yakuza 5 Remastered,

Welcome to Yakuza 5: Cabellas MLB Crazy Taxi Idol Simulator

Are you a fan of playing Crazy Taxi and Need for Speed? Do you like hunting wild animals like Cabella? Do you fancy playing a baseball game to pass the time? Or have you ever wanted to be a J-pop idol?
Well Yakuza 5 remastered has everything for you! From fighting a gigantic bear with your fists to doing handshake events in your J-pop idol life, Yakuza 5 Remastered has it all!

But in all honesty, this is a step-up from Yakuza 3's horrible combat and improves on Yakuza 4's combat and graphics.
The story is good as any Yakuza game should be and the characters were fun to use (except for Shinada when you're starting out but this gets better as you level him up).
As stated in my opening statement, Yakuza 5 has a lot of side missions that will keep you entertained for hours and substories that have always been fun and a staple of the franchise.
It has all the crime drama in the main story and all the laughs on the side that the series is known for. (Sadly you wont get much Majima in this game but we did get Akiyama so thats still a win)

This is the Yakuza game that I had the most hours invested in and to be honest is up there with Yakuza 0. Buy it at full price, don't wait for a sale, the Yakuza games are a gem of a series in this day and age.

Now we all have to wait for Kiryu's last game as a protagonist this March in Yakuza 6: The Song of Life when it releases on steam.

Goro Majima PLUS Shun Akiyama

What more could you ask for?

(And the enemies don't just keep GUARDING EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR ATTACKS like Yakuza 3. I still have war flashbacks from that game)

Buy it and be part of Magilou's Menagerie everyone.

At 71 hours of gameplay and finally finishing the story I think I can fully recommend Tales of Berseria now.

Tales of Berseria is a unique Tales of game in which the main theme is darker compared to the other Tales of games lighter mood. Its main theme is about vengeance being the main protagonist's driving force and goal. This darker tone in no means makes it a bad Tales of game but in the contrary makes it a unique a very well made game. It has a good story which most JRPGs are lacking these days and I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

The combat has been significantly improved compared to Tales of Zestiria and the combos felt fluid whenever you would chain each attack and would sometimes lead to combos looking very good depending on how you would set your attacks. The only small downside to this was it would sometimes turn into a button masher but it wasn't that big of a deal. The AI was good even on default tactics which you could set on the fly. The only minor problem to the AI would sometimes be them running away for a bit then attacking but still good overall.

What stands out from Tales of Berseria was the cast. The cast in Berseria was probably one of my favorite in any JRPG I've ever played. They each shine and have their own moments and felt well developed with each of them having a motive and interacting to one another and the environment. The evolution of each character is evident in the story and contributed to the story of the game. One standout character that I would have to mention was Magilou. To me she had the best character in the game and her funny and quirky attitude would entertain me and is one of the big reasons why the cast in this game was excellent.

The only negative things I have to give to this game was the dungeons which have still felt the same since the older Tales of games which still felt repetitive and didn't have that much good designs. And the thing I hated the most was the backtracking. The backtracking in the game sometimes felt like a chore especially since you only get a means of walking faster maybe about halfway through the game. Oh and I'm 50/50 with the ending, the story was made really well but had to end on that note but still had some positive parts in the ending.

To be honest, Berseria is now one of my favorite JRPGs and I fully recommend picking up this JRPG gem especially if you are a Tales Fan.

As someone who played the original games on the DS, this port is very well done keeping all the features from the original port albeit the DS microphone blowing segment in one of the games.

Become the defence attorney Phoenix Wright and use your logic to defend your clients while at the same time debate about the difference of Ladders and Stepladders and the ongoing community jokes and memes about burgers and ramens.

I have so many fond memories of this series and it has always been a blast playing the games that also has excellent music (especially the cornered themes) and wonderful cast of characters and their amusing names.

You need a reason to play this series? The games overwhelmingly positive rating that has been consistent for a year should be enough to get you to play this series.

(Next series of PC ports when? We need the next games including the Ace Attorney Investigation games and the 3D games.)
(P.S. Iris best girl. Please bring her back.)
