This game needs to cost. It's just too good to believe it's free.

Let me just get the negatives of this game out of the way:
Bethesda needs to let it go, stop milking this game, and make Elder Scrolls 6. Creation club my ass. Seriously bethesda we didnt need special edition, or switch, or VR! Next time just remaster morrowind or oblivion in skyrim's engine!

Where to begin?

I bought this game when it came out on xbox, I heard it was fantastic. I had never played an open world game up to this point in my life, being strictly cod and mario. I had no idea what to do in this game, but then I realized that it is just pure freedom. I was addicted. I struggled with bullies and sadness in my middle school days, and this game helped my through it.

Easily my all time favorite game.

There truely has never been an open world that has felt so realistic and alive. I played the witcher 3 and GTA V and though i love those titles (cd projekt red i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ adore you and tw3, cant wait for cyberpunk 2077), the people around you seem just like little "backround objects" largely due to the amount of them, the 3rd person view, and the fact that they are simply their to enhance the world around you. Skyrim's "minor" NPC'S are similer to those of the previous two ES titles, but almost all of them seem to have unique traits: "mean, drunk, sadistic, happy go lucky, etc." Oblivion and Morrowind's minor NPC'S just had a name, and usually just had the same lines when approached.

Skyrim is so much fun to explore. Morrowind has a fantastic universe and culture, Oblivion's side quests and guilds were fantastic, and skyrim's big trait is the exploration. The world is diverse: a northern land with forests, autumn leaves, grassy tundras, bubbling springs, rocky steep slopes, snowy peaks, and marshes. The mountains give sort of a verticle feel. And the music blends perfect with your surroundings. Oh man, the music brings tears to my eyes thinking of when i was 11, wandering around the land in search of dungeons to raid and adventurs to be had looking up in the sky at the northern lights, and stepping out of the arctic winds being greated with the warm bonfire and soft music of the village inns. Skyrim still feels so realistic

The dungeons are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. While they are linear, there is no backtracking. The dungeons are varied, and very unique. They contain "rooms" that you can tell your enemies use for different purposes (bar, bedroom, the brig, etc.) Making it feel like an enemy compound. The dungeons have a story to tell, with journals and notes giving backround to your location. At the end of each dungeon, you get a large chest full of goodies! Morrowind has solid dungeons, but Oblivions are terrible. Skyrims dungeons are so much better.

The main quest is far better than Oblivion, but far weaker than Morrowind

Side quests are ok. The daedric quests are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. Oblivion had the best side quests though.

The guild questlines had a sort of "plot" to them. This is cool, but Oblivion had much, much better guilds. Unpopular opinion: Skyrim had a better thieves guild.

Nordic culture is just typical bland fantasy, but skyrim captures it pretty well. It is a much more developed world than oblivions boring as hell midevil ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. But it is still in the shadow of morrowind, which was a true cultural experience in an alien world.

Skyrim is still just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ elder scrolls gameplay, but much better than before.

The cities are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool. Whiterun, Riften, Windhelm, Solitude, and Markarth were just breathtaking.

Skyrim is the best game ever. The feeling of wandering through the vast, cold beutiful lands is superb. It feels like bethesda played their heart out with this one, before devolving into pure lazy with fallout 4.

It looks like a very fun game (when online). But after waiting 30 min to download and join a server, the f**king game crashes to desktop (running on linux).

I am sad to say, that I read an article online. This article was about how If half life 3 will be made, valve cannot make it, they will have to send the game to ubisoft to develop the game. Why, Why Gabe did you have to spend all your money on TF2 hats, and not enough on new games. I think we should honor this fallen ser by giving another playthrough, and downloading the game and it's addons.

10/10, Shh, the Call of Duty community is taking there naps, we can get this game on!
