Anime vs Virus is a lewd third person shooter about anime babes and zombies.

This game isn't as bad as it looks. It might look bad, but I've played bad. I've played things I can't unplay. (sad face)

Game-play
There are two modes to play, "Clearing Virus" and "Survival". In the former, you weave through zombies to find (and destroy) a predesignated number of over-sized viruses. In the latter, you just don't die for as long as possible. There are two unlockable characters, which can be obtained by destroying the (aforementioned) viruses. Though viruses spawn regardless of mode, new characters can only be unlocked via "Clearing Virus". Zombies will spawn from all around, and they are relentless. They run as fast as the player, so it very important to keep them at bay

Story
♥♥♥♥ if I know what the story is, there ain't none. Generic anime city is under seige! Some vile pandemic is sweeping across the world, and it has rendered all but a handful of ladies intact. Armed with nothing but bikinis and guns, the anime crew launches their offensive!

Visuals
The titlescreen is a mixed bag; it serves as a character customization and selection screen; a good chunk of it is dedicated to highscores; and the interface, though clean, looks cluttered. From "Settings", you can adjust audio and display settings. The in-game graphics are asset-flips through and through. But they look alright.

Watch out — this game will turn your PC into a fireball. To play this game, you will need to use an FPS limiter to prevent this game from chewing up 100% system resources (and potentially damage your system). Personally, I use the FPS limiter packaged with Nvidia Control Panel.

- The Goods -
There's nudity, and it's nothin' special — but it's an absolutely welcome addition to the game. Expect female nudity.

Verdict
Despite the newest updates, I still don't recommend this title. . . but if you want to play a "memey" game, you might get a kick out of this title. There is in fact, meaningful gameplay, unlockables and (some) legitimate challenge. I still think this is a poorly made game, but it's a gem among memeware.

"I try to review games with some objectivity, and that means my reviews often come off as "serious" — this is one of many reasons I have the fans I do." ahahahahahahaha this is some of the most conceited drivel I've seen in awhile. Let me redo your review for you "The game is one dollar" wow record low word count too! There you go done. Despite being able to freely post reviews have you ever considered.... not? You review steam games, you're not Mark Twain chill out.

Sweet, just what steam needs... More shovel-ware garbage.

Aye, I respect you for making a decision on your own — I prefer that my readers see me as a helpful voice, not as a commander of what they do/don't buy. I try to discuss stories and visuals when I can, but I don't always have enough material to do so. If I have some spare time on my hands, sometimes I'll make up my own story, hah.

. . . yeah, for a dollar you can't go too wrong.

I've taken to trusting DatWombats' honest reviews. So, even though given a negative, it ticks enough positives, I'll get it.
Note that discussing "story" and "visuals" do matter, as they might be what some people are looking for.
£1... lol !
Enjoy!

lmao reviewing a game like this in the same was you would review a AAA game isn't really a good way to go IMO. No ones looking at reviews for "Anime vs Virus" and asking if it has good story or visuals.
