Sorry, but Mr. Prepper is just not good enough to be recommended. You click a lot to run around and gather things. Gather more, build something to gather new items, then sell, buy and gather more and go on and on and on. The story is not good or funny in any way, there is just not much there to keep you motivated to play this game. It gets boring very fast since there is next to none thinking required.
So maybe as a free to play mobile game which you play only when bored to death anyways, it can kill some time with a little less boredom, but it's not something worth to pay for aynthing.

It's a bit like Rimworld became beautiful. The only downside is i'm talking here about the base game, so a few thousand mods are still missing to make up the whole difference.

Endlich ein würdiger Nachfolger für Ja2, hat ja auch nur 2 Jahrzehnte gedauert. :D
Es ist nicht genau wie Ja2 und ein paar Sachen könnten die alten Ja2 Veteranen an dem Spiel stören, deshalb fang ich mal damit an. Die Schüsse haben keine Wahrscheinlichkeitsanzeige und es gibt vor Kampfbeginn keinen Pausenmodus. Das stört einige Spieler so sehr, daß es dafür aber quasi seit Release sofort Mods gibt, die selbiges umkehren. Es gibt auch keinen richtigen Sektor Stash und man kann auch keine Waffen mehr verkaufen. Das nervt auch auf den ersten Blick etwas, ist aber im Spielverlauf gar nicht wirklich wild. Man verschrottet überflüssige Waffen permanent und baut an die Benutzten mit den erhaltenen Teilen ständig irgendwas an, das macht im Endeffekt genauso viel Spaß.
Was aber definitv gelungen ist, ist den Flair von Ja2 zu übernehmen. Man hat immer dieses Verlangen: "Och, einen Sektor mach ich noch." Der Humor wurde ebenfalls in diesen Teil transportiert. Sowohl die Kommentare der Söldner als auch teilweise einfach nur den NPCs am Strassenrand zuzuhören, ist teilweise wirklich lustig.
Die Charactere der verschiedenen Söldner werden auch gut getroffen und man fühlt sich dadurch wieder richtig rein in Jagged Alliance.
Wenn schon bei Release wichtige Mods kursieren, bin ich auch sehr zuversichtlich, daß die bekloppte Fangemeinde, die 20 Jahre lang an Ja2 Mods rumgebastelt hat, auch hier wieder viele wunderbare Sachen dazu zaubern wird, um das Spiel langfristig interessant zu gestalten. Wobei "langfristig" ernst gemeint ist, denn allein die Kampagne dauert wirklich lang, wenn man auch die side quests angeht. Ich bin vielleicht so etwa halb durch nach.... ich schau mal eben... 70Std. OMG. :)

Don't know what problems this game had from release till now, but right now it's just a great game. It's like Fallout New Vegas in Space. Great gameplay, great humor and i have nothing to complain about.

Ich habe über 5000Std in BB1+2 rumgelungert und beide Spiele waren trotz ihrer Fehler und Unzulänglichkeiten nach vielen Patches gute Spiele, wenn auch bei release jedes Mal bugverseucht. Bei BB3 werden die Fehler der Vorgänger bei Release nicht nur wiederholt, sondern leider übertroffen. Insgesamt ist die Grafik mit Abstand zwar das Beste am Spiel, allerdings fehlt selbst da komplett die Liebe zum Detail.
Anstatt Workshop support und eine Community, die diese Liebe zum Detail kostenlos stemmen würde, werden leider eher mittelprächtige, kleine optische Verbesserungen, die aussehen als kämen sie aus einem automatischen Generator, zum Kauf ingame angeboten - großer fail.
Das Spiel selber ist bei release wie gewohnt auch nach 2 zusätzlichen Jahren der Entwicklung fast unspielbar und nur für absolute Blood Bowl Liebhaber mit viel Nachsicht eventuell akzeptabel, wobei selbst diese mehrheitlich eher schwer enttäuscht sind.

Auch das Rumgeklicke im Singleplayermodus wird schnell fade, weil die AI noch schlechter als bei den Vorgängern geworden ist. Die AI ist geradezu absurd schlecht, bzw. gar nicht vorhanden. Es gibt gar keine Versuche selbst zu scoren, die Spieler stehen nur rum und machen ab und zu mal (meist dumme) Blocks oder komplett bescheuerte dodges. Keine Art von dauerhafter Verteidigung und auch kein Versuch selber zu scoren. Die AI Spieler stehen wirklich hauptsächlich einfach nur rum.

Die Frage ob das Spiel derzeit empfehlenswert ist, ist also leider sehr einfach zu beantworten:

Es bleibt die Hoffnung, daß BB3 irgendwann noch die Kurve kriegt, aber nach dem Start sollte es zurecht erstmal keine Käufer anlocken und Geld für die nötige Weiterentwicklung in die Kassen spülen. Könnte eine Totgeburt werden und recht schnell in Bundles landen. Geld ist es zur Zeit auch nicht wirklich wert, in dem Zustand wäre es selbst als free to play misslungen.
Schade, schade...

This game is surprisingly very good. You have to plan things the right way and you will have to micromanage to get through higher difficulties. But even that micromanaging that i usually do not prefer, dragged me in a lot. You'll have to look after supply chains, terror level, prices which keeps you quite busy most of the time. There is a good mix of things that have an effect on each other and need your attention. So after all i was and am still well entertained.

This is a nice, easy and relaxing game and pretty much fun as long as you do not expect anything else. There is not much thinking needed and the economy in this game is very basic.

It's like a promising EA title which could become pretty good, but the finished product is hidden behind an immense paywall.
So if you think this game could interest you and you don't mind paying 200 Euros for a game, this is for you.
But i don't understand how so many people can recommend this and don't mind paying for this fraudulent business model.
I can't recommend this at all.

It's a decent game as long as you are not looking for any challenge in any way. You can relax and renovate some houses until you are happy with your results. After a few dozen of electrical and other installations in every room you may wish to get them done with one click, cause it gets very repetitive, of course; the whole game gets so, but installations are the least fun to do, i think.

But the major downside is the price of those DLC. They seem to make the game a little bit more interesting, but are way too expensive compared to the base game. Most are at 60% of the costs compared to the main game and if you are interested in some, the price of the game gets tripled fast. That's absolutely not reasonable and i if i didn't get this game in a bundle i would never have bought it and do not recommend to do so.
Feels like a they copied a paradox standard:

price structure 0 of 5 (a no go)

The Game seems to be quite chill out and fun like Portia, but right now its unstable as hell for me. I got lots of weird crashes despite my machine running every other game easily. So even though the game itself is nice, it keeps getting frustrating with all the crashes. So my advice is to wait a few months, maybe they get things sorted out then...

update a few months later:
... this game progressed well in every aspect; crashes, loading times and game play took a big step up. Changing to thumbs up now, but hope that they keep up their good work for a while. But in this state the game is already better than Portia.
