I will start this out with I am not new to the Homeworld games, I have played the Remaster and Deserts of Kharak. Going from the prior mentions to this new installment I am very much underwhelmed by it.

I get this game is new but with how much time they had it cooking in the oven this doesn't feel like a well made game. I have personally experienced connection loss at several points on the main menu screen when going to start either a Wargame or a Skirmish match whether it was hosted by me or searching for either or Despite the fact I am connected to my internet via ethernet cable. I have also experienced losing connection in the middle of matches and at the very beginning of them and when going to load up a replay.

Gameplay wise it still feels unfinished, as several units either do not engage until they are literally nose to nose with the target or there is a delay from actively engaging it. Now the cut-scenes, I do not care for the cut-scenes, they look poorly done and there are so many of them, not to mention how many pop up in the middle of a mission when you are trying to give orders are not ideal. If they had stuck with what they did for Deserts of Kharak and were less of them I would have a different opinion.

If they go on to fix this I will be over the moon but I have no real hope for that due to how much time they had to work on this game. Sadly if I am able to actively connect long enough to the game.

I will say this is nothing like the original Hawken that a lot of us have played in the past, but I would take that as a given as I am sure the creators of this game would get smacked if they rebuilt the original frame by frame.

In the end the game play feels nice but clunky every now and then but that was how the original played as well so I would say that is a part of the charm.

The graphics are nice pm the higher end till it make my toaster chug, but even on the lower setting the game still looks pretty good.

First off great game, I enjoy the gun play in this game verse other 40K games. The one thing I am not a fan of in this game is that the graphics requirements shot through the roof on release verse the beta which ran wonders on my pc but now on release it has effected my ability to play the game until I did some major changes in the video settings. Despite this I highly recommend this game for both 40k fans and people not familiar with the 40k franchise.

I have far more hours in this game then what is shown on Steam but I deeply enjoy this game. This game is a alright way for people who do not know much about this time frame of the Star Wars Universe. On top of this the Role Playing community in a few of the servers is pretty friendly and entertaining.

This game is really good, I like the dynamic between all of the fighter types. When you get a good team going no matter what type fighter you are in you are able to deal a lot of damage. Hopefully at some point we could get a Clone Wars version of this game it would be amazing to see a campaign with Clones pilots.

I am loving that it is basically a first person version of Factorio. It is a good game thus far I am looking forward to it's full release. I am hoping that this game will have Workshop support I would love to see a Tiberium mod (The beautiful Glow!) among other types of resources added mod wise.

I have been playing this game on and off now since it went free to play and it is a really good game I enjoy the concept of this kinda of MMO even though I am not really a Star Trek fan. I will say that the most redeeming thing about this game that keeps me coming back to it is the space combat in it, this one thing keeps pulling me back in and when I play it I keep thinking of what would it be like if they made a Star Wars game similar to STO in the way of Space and Ground combat.

This game is great, I will say though if it wasn't for the Steam Workshop I wouldn't be playing this game anymore. I would like to see more base game content added to it so that we can have something more to do after the main story is done. The bounty hunter content is great, but having more of a reason to explore the galaxy other then to collect bounties would be amazing!

I am rewriting my review, I still don't really care for the how the economy was reworked all those updates ago but I have been playing with the Fallen Republic Star Wars mod and it has been a over all good experience. I am going to up my review to 5/10 It is alright. if you like strategy games like this then I say go for it.

Great game and the soundtrack is beautiful can't seem to find the Artbook and the short story for some reason but nonetheless this is a beautiful game!
