Game is pretty sweet, and super fun, but hitting endgame in about 3 hours and nothing to do to progress beside a score based endless mode(prestige) is a bummer. Prestige mode seems to devolve into get 1-2 specific gadgets or reroll, and takes about an hour or two for a middling run which is far too long for me, but there's not much reason to stick with relic hunt (dig until you find a relic, then you win) that has 40 minute runs or so since you're not unlocking anything that would vary a run and it's only for achievements.

The variety of choices is very low for a roguelike, and honestly feels like an Early access game with how they already have mapped things to add like a second character and more domes which feels like it should have been a baseline to start with.

The game feels polished, so I'd recommend it for a good bit a fun and hop off when you're done with it and then revisit in a few months or so when more stuff is in it. Love Drillbert.

Pretty good so far. There's a bug where they actually put blighttown in this game, huge mistake.
