The first game of Witches' Legacy series, was released in 2012. The story starts off with you discovering you are the only living family of an orphan girl named Lynn, your Charlestons family was killed off by a witch which you must save the young orphan from. The gameplay is like any classic HOG filled with multiple hidden object scenes that are recycled even if you took the item in the previous search.

The artwork is still beautiful, although there are some live-acton cutscenes that look cheap and dated, but it is still an excellent game to play if you enjoy old HOGs. The main menu theme music is still as eerie as I remember, I love it, and enjoyed the soundtracks of the game.

There is a bonus chapter that gives a good addition to the main story, Lynn will be the main character of the rest of the series. I wished the game has achievements or an option to download the soundtracks. The journal looked so good, it gives a good insight into the story and when you collect the pieces of paper, it will give you a clue of what you should do to some of the puzzles. Speaking of the puzzles, they were nice and some of them are unique. None of them is difficult though.
