Super fun, I'm sure it's had its issues but I don't really see what's so bad anymore. If there's a problem in game, there's likely a mod to fix it, and it's such a good experience now.

The fact that this game has mixed reviews is beyond me.

This game blew up to so massively that there was no way for the developers to ever prepare for such a huge amount of players. Writing a negative review because you are angry that you cannot get into the game for the first couple days after launch makes no sense, just do something else for a little while.

I am not super well versed in the anti-cheat issue people have with the game, but I don't personally see it as a huge issue. So many games now use kernel-level anti cheats, I don't see why this game specifically gets flak for it. It's hypocritical to say the least, and I encourage you to just get the game and ignore these two instances of stupid feedback.

That said, the game is insanely fun. Missions are challenging in a way that isn't just putting increasingly difficult bullet sponges in front of you, and the chaos you experience in this game is very similar to the feelings you get from games like Planetside 2, SW:BF2, Battlefield 1, and other games like that. Hugely recommend.

At this point 80% of negative reviews are people just complaining about que times. The game itself is really great.

I put 93 hours on this game in the first 2 weeks.

I played this game for 15 hours straight without any idea of what it was, the only thing I knew was what the steam description says.

For most of those 15 hours, I had absolutely no idea what was going on. Over time I began to piece some things together, but I still didn't really know anything for certain.

Then came a certain point where it all came together; The frustration, the excitement, the curiousness, the funny moments, everything finally came together to create the bigger picture.

And then I realized this is one of the best games I've ever played.

This game took my by surprise, because it's actually incredibly fun, way more than I ever expected.

Paladins has gotten a lot of hate in the past for being a clone of Overwatch or other various games, but I actually think it's a lot more fun than those games are, and not really a clone at all. The variety of characters, interesting abilities and overall feel of the game is really nice in my opinion. Remember though, until level 5 you will be fighting bots, but it only takes a couple of games to get past that.

The competitive aspects along with the casual ones mean the game can cater to basically any audience that enjoys FPS games. Some things might feel overpowered to fight, or underpowered to use, but chances are you just need to find the right way to counter it/utilize it properly, so try not to fall into a poor mindset and give the game a genuine shot, it could be your next favorite game.

If you haven't tried it before, you definitely should, it's an extremely fun game, pretty easy to get addicted to.

Fun game with friends, alone is probably terrible. Otherwise really fun game. Needs work but can be fun

Pros: Fun gameplay
Crafting is simple
Enemies are easy to kill (With weapons)
crafting is simple and easy to do
Runs well
Super fun with friends
Dragons (Which are kinda like bosses) Are super fun to hunt and kill

Cons:
Enemies 2-3 shot you
Weird graphics that are obviously outdated
Not many different block types
When hit theres a really annoying bright red screen that shows your hurt.


All in all I really like the game with buds to play with. If you have not gotten into the game yet and have friends that will play (Or surprise them with a 4 pack) I would say go for it.

4/10 alone (6-8)/10 With friends

Pretty fun. There are some things that might need to be balanced here and there but thats the general Alpha/Beta for ya. Alot like world of tanks but lots of customization. Gameplay can be preety crazy at times but boring at others. If you havn't tried yet I would just say go and try it. Fun game

Might not look to promising, but its a very solid game. And gold is only 5 bucks? Great game!
