I am truly ashamed I bought this even for 8 dollars. This should not be marketed as football, but pay to win pinball.

Better framework than Civ. Still needs some work on the UI, quality of life updates, and a few annoying mechanics.

Be ready for defenders to track runs 20 yards behind the back line, CDM's jogging back to defend outnumbered counter attacks, and skill dribble meta that always results in 50/50 random success rate. An abomination of football.

Got landowners to 6% clout without revolution, became a republic, got homesteads and professional army, but still can't get above 25 legitimacy with any other IG. Game is broken and pathetically addicting.

The main story is great, most of the quests keep you interested, but the world does not feel real or alive. Until they add a reworked crime system with police chases and make npc's react realistically to what's happening around them, I can't recommend the game. The world is not immersive.

CA is becoming EA.

They clearly made this game with the intent of completely monetizing it and forgot what makes Battlefield games stand out. Team play is gone, nothing feels real or gritty like every other BF, and the specialist voice lines are CRINGY AS HELL it hurts just thinking about them.

That said, it still manages to somehow be a fun game, just without a soul or any resemblance of a true BF game. Hopefully the devs listen to the community but they haven’t so far.
