After racking up somewhere near 1.4k~ hours on the Ps2 version and another 200 on IZJS over the last several years, the changes here really help add a whole new experience to the game.

New Graphics and shaders are amazing, my jaw dropped when I first booted up and got into Rabanastre.
Another change that fewer people may have mentioned is that they've completely changed the RNG system so previous RNG manipulation methods no longer work.

If speedrun.com adds a Steam Edition category, I'll definitely run it.

While the game is rather CPU intensive, it is an amazing game, well worth the purchase! (As you can see by my playtime)

It's a great game to play to just chill out and not worry about the stress associated with competitive games. What better way to relax than messing around and destroying stuff?

For a free game, it's pretty darn good. While there are some elements of pay-to-win that may put some players off, it's still highly addicting.
