This game has plenty of bugs. But these bugs seem to be all aesthetic. These bugs that I have personally experienced have not affected gameplay to a significant degree, I have 1000 hours in Insurgency, the standalone game. With my limited experience I have playing this game, I can say that Sandstorm is objectively better than the first game, IF you don't care so much about the bugs, performance issues, and lack of mods.

The gameplay has been improved, but not by a whole lot. The graphics, I think, have been improved much more than the actual gameplay. I believe this is because the core gameplay of Insurgency is already great. You can't change too much about it without making it worse.

I have played 26 hours thus far and I have to say, this game is so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun. Very intense and scary. A game that makes your heart beat fast.
