A great mix of third person shooter action and old school puzzles. It's refreshing to have a game that doesn't hold your hand and actually has great hidden secrets to stumble across and figure out. It does have a harsh learning curve, so expect to die a lot as you figure out the rhythm of the game. If you enjoy the Dark Souls/Elden Ring series of games and thought they really needed more SMGs, this might be the game for you.

Solid game play with great graphics. This game offers a variety of ways to build your character, which can be both a boon and a curse. Having unique builds and character control is great for customizing to your personal style, but it can be a negative as many of the roles are not well defined and you can sometimes no be fulfilling your place the the group well. Definitely a learning curve and requires some out of game research. Personally, I enjoy that and I like toying with different build and charactrer types to see what fits me personally.

I love games with customizable characters and I like building games, so Fallout hit a lot of good notes for me. Great graphics, fun characters, good game play, interesting world. I have played for hours now and am still fully engrossed.

There is a caveat, however. As much as I love the game and the series, the glitches can be irksome. Many have been patched, but others have cropped up, at least in my case. The most annoying being that the game now occasionally locks up whenever I hit a load screen. This did not happen prior to the most recent patch, so I have to make sure to save game any time I encounter a stage transition. I still recommend the game because it works overall and still presents a very enjoyable experience, but people should know what they are in for.
