Enderal is amazing. The gameplay is fun, the characters are interesting, and the story is truly astonishing. Rare is the game that actually catches my emotions and manages to reframe my perspective, but Enderal managed to fill me with an emotion of a depth I have literally never felt before. While the game mechanics are fine (Skyrim but moderately better), the quests are what set this apart.

I own over 1200 games on Steam, and this is probably my single favorite game. It has, without a doubt, the best story I've ever played, and it's free (if you own Skyrim.)

And, if the start of the game doesn't capture you, just stick with it; it gets better. The first time I played Enderal, I quit after maybe an hour. The second time, however, I stuck it through, and got to go through a life-changing experience that I will treasure until death.
