Epic ruined this game

Servers are complete TRASH

They go out or lag at ANY given moment.

It's been quite the ride, but there's no point to grind anymore.

Ranks are somewhat like Halloween bags, you never know what you'll get and you're often disappointed.

They removed trade, you're only chance at anything is through trade-ups or blueprints, in which you are almost guaranteed a useless or ugly black market item on a car you didn't even know existed.

This game is going downhill FAST and Epic Games's only interest in Rocket League was the crossover with Fortnite. This game is done for.

You know it's bad when a game that was on the rise to be one of the biggest e-sports game is not recommended anymore by THOUSANDS of people even being FREE.

They remove opening cases due to gambling controversy yet they boost the HECK out of MTX .

The only time you win the lottery and get a server that doesn't lag, you either get a WHOLE team of smurfs against you or get the full experience of toxicity that is hardly ever deserved or 95% a combination of both, because players in this game peak during their teenage years which is also when masculine toxicity peaks.

It is such a let down for release players, I really would've liked to enjoy this game for a few more years. I peaked at a pretty high level which was actually a very nice getaway from life personally, but rank has become useless with any emotion at all, the play style is nothing like it ever was, I blame that partly on bad management.

Also, the tournament system needs a HUGE revamp as everyone now fights solely for flex points with the reward being a title (don't get me started on tournament items...)

Very sad to see this happen in front of our eyes and the fact this game has mostly only been going downhill since being sold to Epic Games makes me think I wouldn't be writing this review if that deal never happened.

I manage to get GC1-2 every season now since Epic took over but from there it's all SSL smurfs and it makes the grind unbearable because trust me the difference between GC2 and SSL is huge.

The only thing that remains SOMEWHAT decent is 6mans.

This game, unfortunately, is not going in the right direction even if it's one of those games you truly never quit...
