This is the sort of developer who makes me believe we're all gunna make it

A somewhat lighthearted RE clone with a good sense of horror when applicable, you can tell the dev put a lot of love in. For the price point it's absolutely worth it.

Just a damn good video game. Unique mechanics, solid and varied levels, never wastes your time. The world needs more games like this.

When you buy a game it should work, especially a game made by a massive company that I just gave my money, I don't care if I end up enjoying this game, the problems this game has on a technical level are inexcuseable, I genuinely hate capcom and so should you, ♥♥♥♥ you.

There's games that are good, there's games that do what they do well but rarely are there games that feel go past just being as good as a game in that genre could be. Those games make genres and while Rocket League absolutely does that it does something I've never seen. It created a genre and at the same time made every reason to make another game in its genre obsolete. It's polished so hard you can see your face in it and its still being polished to this day. It's better than almost all $60 AAA titles being released today yet they sell it for 20. Buy it, buy it now.

Mechanics exist for a reason. The sanity system in the original amnesia mattered because it tied into how the entire game worked but now you can literally run circles around the enemy and theres nothing stopping you. Not to mention the developers being completely different this time and that's not something to take for granted. This is a sequel to the game that started the indie horror boom that fits right in with the trash that sprouted up from the indie horror boom.

While a cute rougelike with no glaring flaws, Eldritch comes off as flat, the stakes are only given through fear of death and that fear can only exist when the game creates a genuine desire to see more, the combat has no punch and not a whole lot of satisfaction with it. I'd reccomend this if it wasn't in such a crowded market, but it is. Download any of the classics that have been set in stone if you're craving a good rougelike

Despite the mainstream success of the series, this is a cult classic. Don't go into it expecting it to be for everyone. Not just because it's a hard game, but because it has an atmosphere that stems from the game "not caring" about you. If you end up loving dark souls it'll be because its what you needed in life and that will cause you to fall in love with it, not because the game does or will ever love you back. That said I do think this is an absolutely fantastic action rpg and it brought a lot to games as a whole.

One of the best action games I've played in my life. Benefiting greatly from a focus in design creating an extremely addictive gameplay loop that will hook you better than most games can, let alone a game that costs $3.
