As you own a collection " Metroidvanias" to highlight new games in steam greenlight . I was wondering whether you could add our game to the list. We have released a new game “Elephant Splash”, a tower defense modeled action game in Steam Greenlight. Would be great if you could find some time to take a look at the game and see if it is worthy to be added to your collection.

Appreciate your time.
Thanks

Worse yet, I created a thread in the Help and Tips section trying to bring attention to the matter, and the moderator in that forum told me that "moderator actions are not discussed in the forums" and then locked the thread there, too: http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/828934424028111312/ .
It's pretty disheartening if this kind of matter can't even be discussed anywhere in the Steam forums. It seems to me that Valve may be o.k. with allowing developers to have this sort of unchecked authority.
I updated my support ticket, which would be the last option for official help from Steam. I'm not too hopeful but maybe something will come of it. Let me know if you hear back from any of those gaming sites.
I know the ban is only for the Miner Wars section and not Steam-wide. But still, it seems like a pretty major issue to me: That forum doesn't belong to Keen Software or Marek Rosa, it belongs to Valve. And so the rules you have to follow are Valve's rules and not his. So he should not have the power to ban you (or even to lock your thread) if you aren't violating any of Valve's rules.
The biggest problem, though, is that you were locked and banned even though you clearly did not violate any of the Steam Community rules and guidelines. This is a major problem if Valve allows that sort of behavior to continue - so that eventually developers may just start banning people left and right simply for criticising their games.
Anyway, if you do report it to Valve and get some sort of response (or no response at all), please let me know. Maybe there's a site like RockPaperShotgun that would write about this if it becomes enough of a problem.
