I reviewed this game previously, but I feel the need since I beat the game on Hardest Bastard with like 20+ deaths that I should again. So Ima be straight-forward about this review so here it is. If you want to play this game casually just have a good time going from ship to ship from sector to sector then this is a great way to pass the time, and its also how I started originally so I could better understand. If you want the hardest challenge, and go in blind I will go ahead & warn you it's going to take a while. I saw somewhere someone said they beat this game within ten hours. Normally I am not one to critic, but unless you're doing an Iron man run this game will frustrate you at max difficulty. To compare with other difficulties - the AI is still avoidable, and mechanics are still the same the only thing you will notice from my POV is that the AI can snipe you from a peripheral range. So if you're trying to peak at a Turret, or a Warbot it's going to just destroy you and there goes 100 or so HP.

To sum this review up I feel like if I hadn't gotten a grip with this game on a lower difficulty at first then my review might be negative because after dieing 15+ times (yes I was counting) I realized this isn't really fun. I was maybe getting 3-4 ships till I had either a whale, pirates, or just lack of supplies killing me in-general. Maybe in time I will consider an Iron man with "Hardest Bastard", but as it stands - I would only ever consider doing it, if I was bored. As the name suggests iron man means you need to be HYPER-AWARE of everything so that would mean in theory everything would have to be near-perfect or incredibly careful to where you're never caught or just grab what you need & leave which is also counter-intuitive because you need supplies to survive, and thus sums up my review.
